Stayed here for 3 nights. Well equipped tent over looking Kwai river ( hidden in reeds) with elephants and hippos close by. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Food was freshly cooked, plentiful and very tasty. Breakfast was outside with the kettle and toast on the fire! Our guide Shaba was so knowledgeable and we saw so much varied game. It is an open camp so you cannot walk around after dark but there is always someone to walk you to your tent. Would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here three nights on a self drive safari. It was brilliant - excellent food and drink (ad lib bar), superb tents with a view to Moremi across the Khwai river but major highland was the staff who were without exception brilliant. We spent one late afternoon / evening sitting on the viewing platform watching the sun set with G&T in hand - and were treated to 15 odd elephants, 3 lions plus assorted letchwe, hippo, etc.

What a wonderful stay we have had for 3 nights at Sango Safari Camp. Where should I start: 1) Every member of the staff (Kenny, Kelly, City, Virginia, Miss T and the others) were just incredible. Not only they had every detail under control, but also they made us have an amazing time with them. 2) Shoutout to KB, this is the greatest guide in Africa. We saw all the animals we could see and we had so much fun with him. Definatelly the best Safari we have done. 3) The food was delicious, mixing local food with all international foods. Chef Kenny made us go back with a couple of kilos more. 4) Last but not least, the lodge is located in the perfect spot. The tents we were sleeping in had the river in front of them, in which we could see all the time many animals like hipos, elephants, impalas, birds… To sum up, we absolutely recommend everybody to come to Sango Safari Camp in order to have the best time of their life.

We booked out the whole Sango Camp for a group of friends and kids. It was an amazing trip with many incredible memories. The rooms are comfortable and all have little balconies overlooking the bush. The main lodge area is lovely and has a big fire pit area looking onto the river. The pool area a little bit away from the main area is the perfect place to have a swim and enjoy the scenery. Staff were lovely! Highly highly recommend. Cant wait to go back!!

We were a group of 6 that went to Botswana in early August 2021. Upon landing, we were welcomed by KB our guide who was not only skilled but personable and fun. The camp was fitted with an amazing, attentive and friendly staff that we enjoyed getting to know. They kept us safe with regards to the wildlife that abounds around the camp and with regards to COVID. Our safari rides were full of sightings of the amazing animal and bird life, the beautiful landscape and the sounds of Botswana. Night rides offered a completely different view of life here and the mokoro ride was like an experience in meditation. Mike the camp manager has a great crew and runs the camp with expertise all while creating a laid back and friendly atmosphere. Kenny made amazing gourmet meals, both European and local cuisine, all delicious. These folks live in a place like no other in the world and they value and respect the lives they have and those of the wildlife around them. It was an honor to witness this place with the guidance of those who know it well. I cannot recommend Botswana or Sango Camp more. This was our favorite stop on our three camp safari tour. Go now while there is less tourism as that offers more personal experience and because everyone is so careful. We always felt safe!

Wonderful and warm people - including the hosts - Nelson and Nellie. Beautiful setting, delicious food and wonderful game drives in the Khwae Concession. The afternoon mokoro ride was spectacular. The evening meal was family style and it was nice to get to know the people who live/work there and the other guests. The hyena den nearby was amazing!

The day we were to arrive at Sango we got word that South Africa was not letting anyone back into the country on the day we were to go back home through JoBurg. We were stressed ,tired and anxious about continuing on to the Delta. In the end we decided to take the risk and it was the best decision we could have made. With very little contact to the outside world Nelson and Nellie made sure we had access to whatever info and contacts we needed. The whole staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and like family. We are so glad we decided to end our Journey at Sango!! The staff, meals and accomodations were just what we needed before our long journey back to the USA and this Pandemic madness! I hope they all are well and remain healthy. What a magical place!

All I can say is, I miss my new extended family! We were traveling in a group of 10, and from the minute we drove into the camp we were made to feel like family. All of the staff greeted us by singing and dancing. What a welcome! From that moment on, Nelson and Nellie, as well as the entire staff, made sure that everything went smoothly and we were made to feel at home. The meals were served family style/buffet and they were all fantastic. They fed us three fantastic meals a day and at least two small snack meals, we were never hungry. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfy and the enclosed, private, outside shower just added to the appeal of the camp. The safari guides, Elmo and July were fabulous. They were both very knowledgeable, not just about the animals, but about the local vegetation, area and people. It was also kind of nice to hear the hippos while sitting outside on our porch. This was our last stop on our two week vacation. We stayed here for two nights and I can honestly say that these two nights were the most memorable of our vacation. I miss you guys!!!

From the moment we entered the driveway, we knew this was going to be special. The entire staff stood before us and delivered beautiful acapella harmonies. For our group of 10, everything about this was divine!! We had fantastic game drives and extremely knowledgeable guides. The meals were homestyle and delicious. The social area was comfy and safari stylish. Our glamming tents with uber comfy beds contained a writing area, cubby’s for clothes and an attached bathroom with an awesome outdoor shower. Whether at camp or out in the bush, Sando delivered on all counts!! Can’t wait to return to Sando and the lovely people of Botswana.

We stayed in the "Sango" for three days and it was a very enjoyable time. The team was fabulous, very welcoming, very warm, always super helpful. Being a vegetarian, I am always prepared that the food selection is "leave out the meat part from your dish", but I was positively surprised what was offered. Simply put, when you are in the area, stay at the Sango safari camp.
