Nasty rooms, service just knock once and enter into your room without caring if you are or not there, then apologize, but they all do the same,it was not like a one time occurrence. Had to be moved from one room to another because everything was flooded, I called to get the hot water fixed (because you can barely get...

Front desk, bell boys and restaurant staff are friendly, they are helpful and supportive. I'm not sure what happened to this former Hilton hotel but it is, urgently needing maintenance, please see the list: Lobby looks old but fancy, anything beyond the front desk is needing urgent Maintenance. -No wifi beyond the front desk. -Only one elevator was in service...

First of all, bear in mind that you are in Caracas. This hotel was taken over by Chavez and co. in the early 00's and was originally a 5* Hilton. Since then it has not been fantastically well preserved - Only two of four lifts work, the décor is tatty in places and the service on the front counter is...

This is a good hotel to stay at if you are visiting Caracas on business. The hotel security is good and the rooms are nice. There is a good pool area to relax between meetings. You can walk to many nearby locations. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and stay here again in the future.

We work and live in Caracas and considered staying in the Alba, because we had to do some major renovation of our own place and since it was our wedding anniversary we considered allowing us some luxury. Pre reservation worked fairly well and the staff was very friendly. They advised us well and provided all information we asked for, even...

Nothing fancy in this former Hilton hotel anymore, everything appears as old and not really well maintained, but the room rates are almost unbeatable, therefore it is slightly above average. Rooms are very old, but clean. You can grasp the glory of the "old" days. You may need to ask for towels, use only one or two of the existing...

The breakfast is excellent, also the restaurant is good, but there is no wifi in the rooms and you need to pay to use it in the lobby. Although it seems to be very common in Caracas, I really mind if there is no wifi in the room. The rooms are fine, the big concern is about safety. I read...

This hotel is the perfect example of the cancerous policies of Hugo Chavez. This was once the fine Five Star Caracas Hilton but the government expropriated it and it is now run down with stained rugs, broken furniture and elevators but still charging(if you use your foreign credit cards and pay the official exchange rate) up to $800 a night....

The hotel, formerly a Hilton, has seen better days. It looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 70's and the outside windows haven't been washed ... in a while, making the view of Caracas a bit blurry. On the plus side of the ledger, my room on the "Executive" floor was reasonably clean. There was a safe deposit box...

This is NOT a five stars hotel. It is dark, old, bad service, and insecure. During my stay, my family and i watched a robbery in front of the hotel, and security personal stayed like nothing happened. I'll never go back to this hotel and i hope lot of travelers read this review. And breakfast the worst i ever ate...
