We stayed in a 2br cabin and the view was wonderful. The fishing was great - no boat needed, we just fished right off the dock. Fish galore first thing in the mornings! The cabin was stocked with everything you might need and the air conditioners were even able to keep up with the high heat index. Deer came to see us in the evenings and also in the mornings. Nearby Mountain Home provided plenty of antique/junkn stores to explore during the days as well! Thanks for a great time!
We stayed in the bunkhouse 2 nights which were awesome, peaceful, and very enjoyable. It had all the amenities of home(shower no bathtub) Every morning we got up, it was nice to walk out on the deck and see the deer walking around. We really enjoyed the trolley that took us down to the dock so that we could fish. there was also a path that you could take down to the dock, and another path for hiking that had a turn around point to walk a mile or you could take the path all the way to the bridge. the property sits on high ground overlooking the lake so In the evening time we witnessed a beautiful sunset right across the lake.
We stayed 4 nights in the bunkhouse which was perfect for our family of 4. One big room with a living area and 4 beds with a separate kitchen and bath. Don and his wife made us feel so welcome. Our favorite part was the 'trolley' to the dock. You'll have to see it to understand. We will stay there again.
We've visited three oaks several times over the past 7+ years and the owners now are the nicest people ever. Beautiful views, cozy cottages and a peaceful setting make this our favorite get away! Will definitely be back!
We had the BEST mini- vacation ever. It was beautiful and very peaceful. We all enjoyed the pool ,the game room , mini golf and I must say the trolley that takes you down to the fishing dock was a favorite !! The cabin was like a little home away from home and had everything you might need!! The owners Don & Margaret were very friendly and helpful in anyway. We just wished we could have stayed longer and look forward to our next visit!!
We decided to add a few days to the front end of our Branson/Silver Dollar City vacation with our 2 daughters. We wanted to bring our fishing boat and knew we wanted to stay at a lake in Arkansas and initially thought about staying at Bull Shoals, but upon researching the area saw Norfork lake on the map and began looking at and learning about it. We instantly became more interested in Norfork and knew that was the lake for our few extra bonus days! We wanted AWESOME lake views and after looking and looking for a place to stay, decided on Three Oaks Resort. We were NOT disappointed!! It was everything and more than we ever expected. The panoramic views of the lake were exactly what we were looking for, and the trolley that takes you down to the lake and back up was a blast, our girls loved it!! The owners were every bit as wonderful as the lake views, too, very very accommodating and as helpful as a family member would be! He even drove our truck and trailer back to the resort for us after dropping us off at the boat ramp, just super nice and helpful! The pool was clean and our daughters loved the miniature put put course. It's a help yourself, come and go atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home :) Did I mention the private boat dock that guests get to use?? The owner has an under water light at the dock that attracts fish, and we spent 2 nights fishing down there... It was neat to see the fish start coming up to the light! Our cabin was nice and clean and had everything in it you need for a comfy stay....We also really like the history of this place and loved looking at older pics of the resort, very neat! We will DEFINITELY be back any chance we get!! John, Lori, Taylor & Jill Asmus…
Three Oaks Resort is a great place to stay with beautiful views of Lake Norfolk! Plan on coming back soon! Super friendly owners of the resort! This is close enough to Mountain Home AR to run errands, eat at nice restaurants, or shopping at Walmart.
Really like staying at the Three Oaks Resort. Especially enjoy fishing off the dock for crappie, wall-eye, and white bass and even an occasional striper. Cabins are always clean and meet our needs for fishing and hunting. I look forward to our Cast and Blast trip this fall and staying at the Three Oaks Resort.
We loved our stay at Three Oaks Resort. We have stayed there many times and always look forward to coming back. Don continues to update cabins and other area's of the resort. He recently updated the trolley to the lake. He and his wife make each visit memorable. The view is just remarkable. It's very quiet and serene. Can't wait until our next opportunity to visit.
We attended a wedding at this Resort! All my family stayed in the cabins surrounding the open area overlooking the amazing lake! The wedding was so quaint in the gazebo in front of the cabins! The reception was steps away, covered pavilion, music, dance floor, and a wonderful catered meal! I could not have been to a more beautiful, quaint, and unique place for two people to share their wonderful day! Accommodations were great as it was so much fun visiting other family members cabins! Each offering its own unique charm! A great place to gather for any occasion! Carrie Leugers Destin, Fl
