First of all, all the team in the hotel were awesome. very attentive, friendly and professional. I had an incredible experience discovering Rapanui with Mea mea and Teata. Both guides in the "Explora" hotel! I was part of a private excursion together with other 3 people from Tahiti and the USA. All were very kind and our guide was capable to explain to us all perfectly and also to show us some hidden trails throughout the island. Both guides were locals, so also they answer many questions regarding how is the normal life in Rapanui. Thank you very much for your help and time.

Explore Rara Nui is an all inclusive experience. An exceptional experience at that. The hotel is everything you would expect from a highly starred hotel - excellent food, superb service - all necessities available throughout the day. A lovely pool and massage area. A lecture theatre used very effectively. Local musicians and dance groups visit all supporting the Rapa Nui experience. In one area this hotel stands out and that is the offer of a range of half or full day trips around the island, be they by people mover, bicycle or on foot, each excursion is accompanied by a passionate native guide, offering a wealth of knowledge, filling in the gaps of knowledge left over the years of reading about the island. Having now returned to the UK I feel my understanding of island and its origins beyond geological, its people and how the society has evolved is much fuller. I cannot commend a stay at Explora Rapa Nui at anything less that being in the clouds. It was superb in every respect. Thank you so much to all the Hotel.

We stayed four nights and felt that this was a reasonable amount of time and would recommend this. Weather was not an issue, but if it was, the loss of a day of touring would still be an adequate amount of time. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. They seemed to take a genuine interest in their guests. It seemed like they were willing to accommodate any reasonable request that you might have, no matter how small and when they did, it was beyond your expectations. Our room was very comfortable. We were extremely impressed with the extra attention that the cleaning staff paid to the room. The guides for the excursions did a great job. Our tour groups were small, anywhere from three to five people. The way the tours are arranged, you get to meet other fellow travelers. After a couple of tours, you start to have a lot of fellow travels to socialize with when back at the lodge, which was very nice.

Explora is a terrific way to see Easter Island. The rooms are great, the food excellent, the service wonderful, and above all the guides will show you all of the island. It is an all inclusive resort, which makes life very easy for the traveller.

We stayed for 4 nights coming directly from a stay at Explora Patagonia. This is a very impressive hotel and we really enjoyed our stay on this fascinating island. The hotel is very well equipped and the staff really good. At the hotel the stand out feature is the restaurant where they skillfully produce excellent meals - they could teach Explora Patagonia a few things on the catering front! The included tours were generally good although we felt that a couple of the guides were rather disinterested and just going through the motions. That said I really do recommend this place. Easter Island is a bit of a once in a lifetime visit for tourists but if we ever did go again this is where we would stay
