Explora couldn't have been better. The staff was delightful - warm and generous. They made us feel right at home and addressed our every need often before we even knew we had them. The guides were both competent and knowledgeable and were able to challenge young, fit hikers while assisting those who were less able. Bravo Explora! You succeeded in... More

- The building is beautiful, very modern design, though it doesn't clash with the landscape but gently blends with it. - The rooms are good size, well equipped, functional. - Food was excellent. - Excursions were all great. Good variety, and de facto complete flexibility to choose any excursion at any time, as if it was completely bespoke experience. The... More

Excellent hotel, guides and service. Rooms were spacious. Food was best on the island. Incredible views. Timely transfers. Quiet evenings. Accommodating for families. Good choices for excursions. Quality clientele. All inclusive price is worth it because restaurants in island are very poor.

This was my second visit to Easter islands, this time with my two children aged 9 and 16. We're not massively rich so the cost of explora was way over budget, but my word it was worth it. The best money I have ever spent and the most amazing time. Can't say thank you enough and can't explain why it... More

We spent 4 nights at Explora. All food, drink and excursions were included in the price. The guides were all enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgable. They plotted out activities for us every day which were varied and interesting. The food and drinks were excellent including our packed lunch for the full days excursion. Highly recommended.

The explora Rapa Nui start to finish was one of the finest experiences we have had during our extensive travels. It is an eco hotel so it blends beautifully into the surroundings, but every luxury is available. The bedrooms have panoramic views of the oceans. The common areas are comfortable and inviting. The food is amazing. This is an all... More

This was our first experience with explora and we were extremely impressed with the quality of service and highly customized trip. The staff all knew us by name and remembered our food preferences--they were highly accommodating of vegetarian and gluten-free dietary restrictions. They assisted us in developing an itinerary that included all of our preferences--hiking, horseback riding, biking, and running. The... More

Arriving from Santiago on a Boeing 787 (my first time on the larger plane), you disembark into a small airport that appears to be very disorganized. Picked up by the Explora Hotel representative, we (two couples) drove by the city (Hanga Roa) along a road into the countryside and turned onto an unpaved road to a beautiful hotel in the... More
