Nice place to be, cheap and nice, the crew is very cool. And when its hot outside you can jump in the pool. They have a nice bar with reasoble prices. Close to the centro and supermarket. Good price to stay if you have a budge to follow.

The interior is antique and a bit worn down. This could give the place a lot of charme. However, it is dirty and full of moscitos. Spidernets on the ceiling and bloody dead moscitos on the walls. The staff is helpful and nice. They care a lot about good music and nice atmosphere in the hostel and like to chill...

Loved the stay in this hostel. Filipe is a great guy and very helpful with arranging things. The breakfast was good, you can take what you want. The pool was very nice and clean. Great garden in the sun all day. Lovely place to hang out with a good ambiance. Some folks came over to play music and it lasted...

I had a great experience at El Puesto. Big, clean rooms, nice breakfast and pool. Felipe, the owner was so nice and helpful. I could have stayed forever. The perfect place if you want to spend a few days in Areco.

We had a lovely stay in San Antonio de Areco, it is the most adorable village! El Puesto Hostel definitely has the makings for a great hostel in high season but is a little deserted in the low. Breakfast is very basic and could be improved. The facilities were clean but there were a lot of marks on the White...

This was the perfect hostel to stay in while visiting San Antonio de areco. The owner and his wife were so welcoming and helpful. We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday night so the town and hostel were very quite. The owner helped organise a 'dia Del campo' for us, recommended good bars and restaurants and kindly dropped us to...

Really great place to stay. The owner was welcoming and so was the space. The kitchen was great and easy to use, I really enjoyed the pool, and we stayed in the private room which was really nice for a hostel. I recommend this for anyone going to San Antonio de Areco!

El Puesto was in a great location, centrally located in the beautiful streets of Areco. The hostel had a comfortable, warm feel and we felt very welcomed by Filipe! We made use of the great swimming pool and backyard. The double room was clean and inviting and provided enough privacy for us. Filipe helped us organise a trip out of...

First of all ignore what the reviews say about needing a taxi to get to there - it's a 12 minute walk (we timed it!) San Antonio de Areco isn't massive anyway but the hostel is in a really good location, just a few minutes from the main square. You can rent bikes for free from the tourism office there...

Note: We stayed during a long weekend and it was very crowded. Maybe during normal days is different. I wouldn't know and I speak for my experience. The concept is: a guy with a dirty old house that needs lots of repairs sets up some cheap second hand furniture and opens a hostel. There are 30+ beds in dorms, but...

I know who's you. The girl who arrived at 9 am and was angry because his bed was not ready, so now I understand where comes this opinion. The hostel was full it is true, was a long weekend. All the days of the week weekend came a girl to clean, the hostel was clean every day. The pool was...
