…and that didn't make us returning guests. That time, we booked a room with a view of the Fitz Roy, and we received a tiny room at the ground floor with a view across the fence of the next house and some telephone or electricity poles, and then maybe the mountains. Hopefully we could negotitate a room at the second... More

The hotel is located in the quiet part of the town and has a charming traditional look and feel. The room was simple but comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated their advice on the hiking trail. They offer a nice selection of food for both breakfast and dinner. We had a very comfortable stay and... More

Quiet, clean, peaceful and within walking distance to everything! I recommend stopping by Nipo Nino on the way back from hiking for empanadas and wine. This hosteria also has very comfortable beds which are key after a day of climbing!

I booked this hotel for myself and 2 friends to stay over New Year 2016/17. I booked via a well known travel booking site. However SEVEN weeks later they cancelled our booking saying the room was not available, the email was short and not very friendly and they did not reply to my request for clarification on why. The room... More

We liked it. It was cozy and clean. The rooms are by no means huge but I really don't stay in the rooms during vacation. The staff are very helpful. They spoke excellent English (my Spanish is not very good) and helped us plan our treks, helped us arrange a taxi to the trail head, and helped us arrange a... More

The thing I liked best about this place were the front desk staff. Over 2 nights there I met 3 different people and every one of them was so helpful with planning our days walking and anything else we needed. Absolutely top marks. The room was cosy and nice and warm with a good shower. I like area at the... More

We stayed there on our guided tour through Patagonia and I felt much more comfortable and cozier there than in some other bigger (and better?) hotel we were. The rooms were very big, with table and chair for your computer works and it was very clean. The shower though in my room was a bit odd, as it was on... More

Stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel very accommodating and friendly - decent breakfast and very friendly staff. Asked them to do my laundry for £7 did quite a large bag and was returned the same day. Good location at the end of the town , near the, bus station, tourist office, ATM and supermarket. Room was small but... More

Our room had a huge window with view over the bay and the sunset on both nights was superb. A family run and friendly place with lots of atmosphere with lots of space inside the hotel to relax. We ate in both nights and can recommend the food and the choice of wine. For a small hotel this is the... More

We spent two nights in this hotel. We were not on the first floor so no view at all, the room is really small but convenient. Wifi is no good at all but having Internet in El Chalten is already a miracle, there is almost not cellular network in the city. The breakfast is good and quite big, ideal before... More
