The hostel was clean and quiet. (it was a low season om early May) The bedding was OK. Nothing particular to complain about but also nothing characteristic. The plus of this hostel is that it is run by a bus company and you can get there or return easily if you use 'bus+ hostel' package. (1,0000 pesos in cash)

Don't stay here. Try hosteling international's Hostel Condor de Los Andes. It's a little further from the main strip but well priced and friendly. This was a fairly typical hostel except for a couple key issues. No towels and soap are provided. Even the shared washroom beside the common area did not have soap. Can't imagine everyone hands are very... More

if you look for a wellpriced stay in a clean and overwhelmingly organised HOSTEL, this is the pla e you should go to. 250AGP a night. very decent kitchen, free corner stuff gets used by cleaning personal though.....not totally the spirit...but if you are fast you may catch some. beds are done every day, and the shower is the best... This place was absolutely terrible and I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there, unless all you care about is getting a pretty affordable bed. The location is the only good thing about this place. It's on the main street, an easy walk to the Fitz Roy and restaurants and shops around. First, when I arrived, they gave me the key... More

Stayed here because we visited el chalten in high season and other hostels were full - would recommend booking in advance because there are better hostels. It's clean and the kitchen area is big, but the staff were not friendly or helpful and the wifi was awful. Good enough as a base for hiking but no atmosphere

The hostel itself is really nice, clean and good facilities. The rooms are great with big lockers and a separate shower and toilet. The bad thing about this hostel is that they want to charge extra for everything e.g breakfast, leaving your bags after checkout, if you want to use the facilities after checkout and it's stupid rices they charge.... As other reviewers have mentioned, this hostel is very large. Still, the service was good and they keep everything very clean. My girlfriend and I stayed here twice; the first time we had an entire 6 person dorm to ourselves, the second we shared with just one other person. There are bathrooms attached to each 6 person room, which had... More

I stayed here for 2 nights and although it was clean and had good storage; it was more like a hotel- too big/strict for my liking. I prefer a smaller more intimate hostel where you can meet more people and socialize. Pros- good location to trail heads and food. Cons- hard to socialize here, too big

We hadn't booked but arrived here by bike and booked for 2 nights which we extended to 4. We had a private double room ensuite which was very spacious with a superb shower and overall it was better than many hotels we have been in. The staff were friendly and helpful and they allowed us to put our bikes in... More
