The reception is great and very accomodating. They'v kept my bag, allowed me to change my booking at the last minute and even changed money for me. The cleaners are saints, they spent their time cleaning dirty kitchen and toilets soiled by disrespectful backpackers. Some issues: toilet doors do not lock and it is very very noisy.

I have been to the restaurant only. Food, portions and prices are good. But unfortunately it is one of those places where, albeit its small size, if you forget something on the table, you won't find it when you come back afterwards to search for it.

Great hostel, it is well located within El Chalten. It is a 10-15minute walk from the bus station along the Main Street. We had a twin room which was clean & bright and well priced. Staff were helpful & the bar/restaurant in the hostel was busy for the evenings we were there, we are both evenings and was impressed each...

It was my favorite hostel among these ones we stayed in Patagonia. Its big, very good located (close to the hiking routes). Staff was friendly, we got a welcome dring as well. There is a big common area with a restaurant (24h) downstairs. And 2 kitchen. Good place to relax after hiking and meet new people

We stayed here for almost a week whilst hiking the nearby tracks. The hostel is cheap, clean & the staff are friendly. We had some issues with the people in our dorm room, approached the staff & they resolved it straight away. Would go back if we went to El Chalten again.

This hostel has a great vibe. Casual for a beer after a long hike. It's located super close to one end of the trails and everything is easy to walk to in town. You're better to buy breakfast, I don't think they supply it or at least we didn't get any, at the in house restaurant which makes a stay...

We booked our transfer to El Chaltén with two nights here included for a far better price than booking separately (ended up paying 150 pesos a night rather than two or three times that amount). As it was a good deal we weren't too fussed about what we'd be getting. The communal space is really nice but all of the...

I had a great stay at Rancho Grande Hostel - the staff was kind, rooms were modern and clean, and they had a great open area for travelers to work and meet each other. They have a couple good beers on tap downstairs, big kitchen, and offer laundry service for a small fee. The wifi didn't reach my room -...
