We had a great family holiday in Llanberis, staying in this 4 storey house that had everything we needed. Really well equipped (especially kitchen) nicely furnished, with a wood burner, big kitchen/diner and lots of thoughtful touches (great selection of games, dvd's, books) Will definitely return again!

My husband and I have just returned from a 3-night stay here. We booked it on the basis of the excellent reviews, and we weren't disappointed. If anything, we were surprised at the good value for money, as this certainly isn't among the most expensive B&Bs in the area. We stayed in Room 3 on the 2nd/top floor. It had... More

Stayed for two nights. Very convenient for town and all the facilities there. Very friendly, clean and spacious rooms, and lovely breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome. The only downside was the wi-fi was a bit flakey. Hardly a major issue!

Great bed and breakfast in beautiful location. Lovely good sized double bedroom at top of property - views of hills and fields from back window. Owners very friendly and helpful. Fantastic, tasty breakfasts - full English very filling. Area is beautiful, town has plenty of individual shops and is determined to stay that way. Lots of good places to eat... More

Absolutely lovely guest house for bed and breakfast run by Dinah and her husband. Extremely welcoming on arrival with rooms beautifully furnished, spotless and clean. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were very hearty (the local bacon was just the best ever tasted). Will use again if ever in the Crickhowell locality and highly recommended for bed and... More

In a perfect world all B&Bs would be like Ty Tal. This was a special weekend for us, bringing mum back to Crickhowell where she grew up, as an 80th birthday treat, and without doubt Dinah and Brians hospitality made a great weekend, perfect! The rooms are clean, attractively decorated and furnished and the beds sooooooo comfortable. Breakfast was delicious... More

We stayed for 1 night as we were going to an evening wedding reception. Easy to book via e mail with a quick response. Such a friendly welcome from Dinah, large clean room with excellent bathroom. Tea, coffee and water provided. Very comfortable bed and if you were staying longer, there's plenty of wardrobe and draw space. Breakfast? Fantastic! Cereal,... More

Ty Tal was a very comfortable B and B with a spacious double room and bathroom and surprisingly quiet given that we were on the ground floor looking out on what appeared at first to be quite a busy road. Dinah was very welcoming giving us tea and cake on arrival and an excellent breakfast the next morning with home-made... More

Dinah and Brian are delightful and ever so welcoming. The accommodation is ideal, the breakfasts are delicious and the location is perfect for easy access to the centre of Crickhowell or a stroll along the bank of the River Usk. It is right on a fairly main road so if you're particularly noise sensitive you will notice the cars that... More

Another summer and another stay at Ty Tal Each bedroom beautifully appointed and the breakfasts get even better - I can never make my mind up between the pancakes and the scrambled egg with smoked salmon. (You're a great cook, Dinah) Thanks for all your hospitality over the years...

“All of the rooms are great, I have slept in three rooms so far. In two of the singles on the first and second floor and the double on second floor. I wouldn't have a bad word to say about any of the rooms. In fact the beds are soooooo good I struggle to get up for my job in the morning!”
