We originally came to Caer Beris Manor back in January this year, where we had an enjoyable stay with great food. Sadly things have gone down hill since then, I think a large part of that is the incompetent manager Carlos and the poorly trained staff. Although the staff are very friendly, they need to be asked 3 or 4... More

Stayed at hotel for a couple of days over weekend .The hotel has plenty of history and full of character .We had a four poster bed which was very comfortable giving us a fantastic nights sleep . The views are outstanding whether from the bedroom or conservatory or in the grounds .The food was excellent the chef was clearly very... More

Having stayed here before we received an email with an offer for Cae Beris and this time decided to bring along the inlaws. Arriving around half past 7 in the evening we were promptly given our keys and shown to our rooms. Our rooms were very spacious and clean and after dropping our baggage here we decided to pop down... Spent a night at this lovely old family run hotel. The Manor House was the old residence of Lord and Lady Swansea and still has the lovely old house feeling to it. The grounds are beautiful with care taken to promote local wildlife with the river Irfon running through the grounds , you can fish for brown trout, Sea trout... More

At arrival the manager, Carlos, tricked us into eating in the restaurant by saying there was only one table left, but the truth was that we ended up sitting in a virtually empty restaurant. To add insult to injury, we ordered lamb and were given beef without any explaination, and the seafood tagliatelle had no flavour. When we asked whether... More

Exceptionally beautiful hotel, staff were very welcoming and nothing was to much bother. The rooms are like stepping back in time with the 4 poster bed, the leaded windows and the large fireplace. We loved it. The breakfast was excellent and the setting the hotel is in is beautiful with lovely walks and gorgeous gardens, will definitely be back..

Went here for Hay festival. Good for walkers or cyclists judging by crowd at breakfast. Rooms quite small and overheated. Facilities throughout looking tired but it is a hotel in the middle of nowhere so that's understandable- just. Won't stay there again

Stayed for two nights with my 12 months old Golden Retriever. Nothing was too much trouble. With being my first stay at the manor, I was shown around and taken to my room, which is a lovely touch. They have an incredible chef and courteous waiting on staff. I chose seared scallops as a starter, cooked to perfection, followed by... More

Amazing service from the moment we arrived. Our luggage was carried to the room and the 4 poster bed was very impressive. Great food and choice of beer and make sure you bring trainers/walking shoes to have a wander round the grounds. Definitely worth a visit.

This was our second visit to Caer Beris, the first of which was booked via a third party. As a direct booking, the price was higher, however, we were so impressed first time around, this was not an issue. The Manor and grounds are really lovely and a pleasure to be part of. The food is very good and most... More
