We paid £30 each to stay at The Cedars hotel in Built Wells. For this we got a cooked breakfast with fantastic quality ingredients that was well cooked AND piping hot, along with all the continental breakfast goodies. The bedrooms were newly decorated and exceptionally clean. It was an easy stroll to the restaurants in town. The staff were friendly... More

Plenty of off road parking, a warm welcome from Jo, a small but very clean bedroom and bathroom and a quality breakfast each morning. Short walk to the High Street and the park by the river. Good suppers at The Lamb. A very pleasant two day break.

Not to impressed, some reviews mentioned the place had been refurbished, afraid the room we had certainly hadn't been, desperately needed something, toilet was smelly. Just not nice at all. Won't be back. Not a good start to our break.

What a lovely little guest house!!! Jo and Lee are enthusiastic, cheery, helpful, and everything you would want from a short stay in the cosy, local little town of Builth Wells. A pretty, five minute walk to the centre of town, and everything has a personal touch; they made it their business to ensure we had everything we wanted (just... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days, we had a nice warm welcome from Jo. The breakfast was amazing as we're the views. There is a lovely young couple Lee and Jo running the place, they took over around 18 months ago and are renovating as they go, there is a gorgeous new staircase and windows, these things... More

Highly recommended. Property refurbished completely 18 months ago. The staircase & carpeting were very impressive, & our room overlooking the main road and fields was lovely. We had a warm welcome from Jo, and the breakfast was excellent. Overall- great value for money. Only 5 mins walk from Builth's main high St where there are pubs and restaurants. Only problem... This place saved our bacon on a Saturday night after we had lost a room elsewhere due to my scheduling goof. Snagged a room after the Cedars had a last-minute cancellation. Our room was on the top floor--very small, tiny en-suite bathroom, but it looked great to us and served the purpose. Was clean, wi-fi worked fine. Breakfast the next... More

Myself and my partner stayed here whilst we were working at the Royal Welsh show. The room was very clean and comfortable but a little on the small side but it didn't really bother us as all we wanted to do was sleep after a hard day trading at the show. The beds were lovely and comfy. We were really... More

stayed here on a motorcycle tour, rooms clean and tidy, top marks to our host Jo as nothing was to much trouble, good breakfast, off road parking and taking into account what we paid it was great value, only a short walk to the town centre.

Nice clean B&B that is in need of some decoration and gardening. Pleasant owners made us very welcome once we could get in the door ! Arrived an hour before check in and rang the bell for assistance as the sign stated and this was unanswered twice. We had travelled down from Manchester and just wanted to use the facilities...
