Stayed for one night for work. Chose this hotel as it had heating, a hairdryer and toiletries which were not provided at others nearby. The high street was really close by and we went for an Indian (the other restaurants stop serving at 9pm!) Staff were lovely and helpful, all in all a nice visit.

We stayed one night while house hunting in the area. Jo was very welcoming even though we arrived earlier than expected. Within walking distance into town with plenty of parking. Room was small but comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Jo was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended a good...

Jo was very friendly and helpful before booking, nothing was too much trouble. They provided a place to store the bicycles safely. The Cedars Guest House is slightly out of town but only 200 metres. It run really well an is very efficient, that means you lose a little of the personal touch, but I was more interested in a...

The guest house is within easy walking distance of the centre of Builth Wells, and plenty parking space. Check in went fine, and the twin room we stayed in was fine for our one night stay. Clean, tidy and comfortable...

We paid £30 each to stay at The Cedars hotel in Built Wells. For this we got a cooked breakfast with fantastic quality ingredients that was well cooked AND piping hot, along with all the continental breakfast goodies. The bedrooms were newly decorated and exceptionally clean. It was an easy stroll to the restaurants in town. The staff were friendly...

Plenty of off road parking, a warm welcome from Jo, a small but very clean bedroom and bathroom and a quality breakfast each morning. Short walk to the High Street and the park by the river. Good suppers at The Lamb. A very pleasant two day break.

Not to impressed, some reviews mentioned the place had been refurbished, afraid the room we had certainly hadn't been, desperately needed something, toilet was smelly. Just not nice at all. Won't be back. Not a good start to our break.
