A lovely and welcoming guest house ran by a very friendly couple. The room was very well kept and tidy. The breakfast was fantastic with a great variety from continental to full breakfast. Very talkative and gave fantastic suggestions for activities to do around the local area. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to visit Builth wells and... More

Visited Builth Wells to Marshall at the Red Dragon Endurance race so needed a place to stay, found this wonderful little bed-and-breakfast warm and welcoming. The room large and sizeable albeit the bathroom a little small. Did not try breakfast as leaving too early, however the offer of bacon butties was much appreciated.

There were 3 in our hiking party - walking out from Hay and had to be out early for a morning train. We paid £30 a head for a singe and twin room. Jo couldn't have been more helpful -a good night's sleep, a nice breakfast. The building is well positioned for the town too. Recommended!

In view of all the wonderful reviews here I should start by placing this review in context. I am 6ft 1" tall and weigh 15st 10lbs. That is nowhere near obese but it is 'large'. My wife is about half my weight and several inches shorter. In addition I have lower back problems. I agree with all the praise in... More

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was very tidy and clean. Very nice breakfast. And lockup provided for the cycles. There is ample parking at front of the Guest house and only a 5min walk to centre of Builth Wells

Had such a comfortable visit. Lovely super clean bedroom , en suite v clean too ( if a tad small - but no prob .Only suggestion is a longer flex for the bedroom kettle ) The lovely couple running it provided a great breakfast , vegetarian easily accommodated. Croissants, juice ,eggs & sausages etc etc !! yum ! Definitely recommended

As we pulled into the car park (plenty of parking spaces!), we were personally greeted by the owner which was a lovely touch. I had initially booked an en suite room but there was a mix up and the owners literally bent over backwards to accommodate me - even sorting out a similar level room at a nearby guesthouse. I... The guest house is lovely from the outside and the inside is great too. New carpets throughout and everything is spick and span. The lovely couple that run this clearly care very much about this place. New soft towels, tea and coffee, extensive guest info book, free wifi and sat TV were all provided in the rooms. Breakfast was continental... More
