As a seasoned traveller, I have stayed in a variety of places. Well I have now found my regular stopover. Nothing was too much for my hosts. I can be a difficult customer, having special dietary needs and other somewhat quirky requests. They stood up to the plate every time. The big hotel chains can learn a few things about... More

Stayed here for a weekend of walking in the Brecon Beacons, we didn't quite realise how far away we were (about an hours drive), our own fault for not doing enough research. HOWEVER, the service we received at New Hall was next to none, the lady was very accommodating and cooked a mean breakfast. Our room was huge (we had... More

We have just returned from a two night stay at New Hall Guest House, it was super comfortable, really clean and the room was a really nice size. Breakfast was fantastic! Was great for our puppy too as on a quiet country lane so we could walk her quickly in the morning and last thing at night. Good wi-fi signal... More

This B&B was a clean and quiet place. The location was ok, but not really a lot around it. The rooms were ok quite spacious, although you could hear exactly what people were saing in the next room. June was very helpful and accommodating. We didnt have breakfast so i cant comment on that.

Lovely stay with delightful hosts June and Eugene. Wonderful area to explore by foot, car or bike. Made very welcome, lovely fresh breakfast and suitably supplied with vast choice of colanders in order to watch the eclipse - what more could you ask for. In fact we enjoyed the stay so much we have made an offer to buy a... More

Had a fantastic stay, a treat from son and daughter in law. Quality food, linen, decor, furnishings. Hosts very accommodating. Only one negative the room was very cold due to a small radiator only on for a few hours daily

Hello L and G I am so sorry. I had no idea your room felt cold. I'd understood you were cold at night hence the extra bedding when requested. Such a shame as it could so easily have been rectified - I do hope it didn't spoil your stay. Thank you for pointing it out though - we will make... More

Stayed here for 2 nights last weekend and we were the only occupants. June looked after us really well, Room was lovely and clean and comfortable. Cooked breakfast was ally nice as well. The village itself does not have much in it but New Hall is a great central location to explore Wales. Thoroughly recommended
