Stayed here for just one night (thank God) in May 2017 for a local show in Builth Wells. I am fully aware that a "16th Century Inn" comes with it's own little quirks i.e. wonky stairs, very low doors etc. but this doesn't account for the place being dirty, all carpets look like they were original, all very worn and...

Didn't stay, only visited for food and drinks because dogs were welcome. I say welcome, I mean allowed as none of the staff were particularly welcoming! Food was okay and plentiful and it arrived reasonably quickly, however on two of the times one of our party went to the bar, they were short changed and on both occasions no apology...

A great overnight place to stay. Ambiance lovely. Food good to. Will stay there again if in the area. A little secret hidden near a buzzy shopping centre. Clean and friendly. Pleasant and friendly staff.

A golf break with friends landed us up at the Llanerch Inn, and what a good choice it was. OK, not too great to look at. Tidying up of gardens and interiors would help, but clean despite the odd bits of clutter. Rooms perfectly acceptable, hot water was hot, TV worked. Breakfasts fine, a steak meal in the bar -...

We stayed here for two nights as we were in need of a getaway. The inn was quirky, with all the usual that come with history - sloping floors (made us giggle but weren't dangerous) and sash windows (didn't affect the temperature of the room. We were greeted by Simon who was so welcoming and we felt as if we...

We loved how quirky this place is. The food is lovely, especially the lager battered cod. The live entertainment was "interesting" to say the least, not our taste but ok. We were a bit worried about noise in our room from the entertainment but it was minimal which was great as we had a very early start. All in all...

There are limited choices for food in this sleepy town, and we decided to have dinner here one night. Orders are taken at the bar, and there was quite a long wait before the food arrived. The food was not bad, but it was quite average. Prices are reasonable, and there was free wifi, and the staff was friendly.
