Arrived on a wet Sunday so looking forward to some hope food. The boards they put outside daily state food is served until 8.00 on Sundays but we arrived at around 7.00 to be told they had stopped serving. Couldn't be bothered going back there rest of the 5 days we were in town, found some more welcoming places.

Nice to visit a dog friendly Pub that serves good food and has some great beers on tap. Staff seemed happy to work there and service was quick. The menu was traditional pub grub and I enjoyed the pie of the day (steak and ale). My wife also liked the home made chicken tickets with wild rice. We didn't stay... More

Having been here before when it was very busy and full for food, we pre booked a table. It's a friendly relaxed pub/B&B with dining tables in the bar areas and a small restaurant at the rear which also leads to a beer garden. It's a popular place with locals and tourists alike. Menu's are on the tables so order... More

Great central location. The facilities in the room were excellent. I loved the huge fluffy white towels and good quality toiletries. Breakfast was one of the best I've had. .the staff were friendly and helpful.

Sunday roast is amazing....plenty of everything and not even at a massive cost. They have always accommodated me everytime I go. Massive compliments to the kitchen staff on this Sunday night who were very busy but we're always smiling and the service was brilliant. I will be back again. Thank you

Good hotel, clean and tidy. Good breakfast and good customer service. Bit disappointed, though just because we got to the hotel bit earlier and there was any note on the door mentioned the opening time or in the email the website sent to us, so we asked to the next door. Also bit disappointed we had troubles with the wifi,... More
