I stayed at the hotel with my family over the weekend at the start of October. The hotel was not a four star. I would class it as a two star at a push. I believe the hotel are misrepresenting themselves by saying they are a four star so will follow this up as I believe it is unfair to customers. The hotel was only tired and dated but there were a lot of dog hairs on the carpet, including in our room. There was also the smell of smoke in the corridors. The bath plug hole was blocked as it was full of hairs. We found empty biscuit wrappers under the bed. When we arrived we had to wait fifteen minutes to check in as there were no staff around. At breakfast our children wanted cereal and the place did not do cereal. They only did a cooked breakfast which was very poor quality. I don’t like to write bad reviews but I felt so strongly about our negative experience that I thought it fair to comment on it.

I attended here for dinner. Food lovely plenty of it but it’s not a 4 star hotel. It’s tired and a bit run down it could do with some renovating and a bit of TLC. That aside like I said food was good service in restaurant was great. Staff very friendly. Just needs an injection of cash put in and this could be exquisite. Best location literally overlooking the beach.

Popped in a few afternoons for a thirst quencher Didn't get beyond the bar, but the place seems very tired. I guess times are hard Cracking location out front in the sun means its a great option for a sunny day

We stayed here for the weekend for my birthday, we chose it because it’s dog friendly. The room itself was small but big enough for what we needed it for and most importantly it was clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and on hand for anything you needed. They helped my partner arrange to have flowers delivered to our room which was a lovely birthday surprise! We ate in the pub lounge twice, they were both nice meals but nothing spectacular. We were slightly disappointed by the Sunday roast as the hotel boasts home cooking but everything was frozen and heated up, even the meat! But it still tasted okay. The garden is lovely with plenty of space and water for your doggos, with an amazing view of the beach and dunes. Just a ten minute walk into town if you fancied eating somewhere else and plenty of things to do within an hours drive. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Popped for a beer on a beautiful sunny September afternoon. Good Covid-19 protocol. Plenty of hand sanitizers & clean toilets. Sat outside with a nice refreshing pint of San Miguel, with stunning views looking out to sea.
