I stayed here and was pleasantly surprised. Driving up to the hotel I thought I'd made a mistake as its a drab colour, not very inviting but as soon as I walked inside I knew I'd made a good choice. For £60 I paid for a single room and breakfast. Normally when I book a single room you get a... More

Visited The Flat Rock hotel recently for a lunchtime snack. The food was tasty and portions were very large and value for money. Excellent!! High expectations were reached once again. Did feel that the staff were slightly rushed off their feet. No tables being cleaned in between guests :( other than that highly recommended for a lunch time snack!

We are slightly confused by the raving reviews for this hotel. We booked in for Easter weekend, and upon arrival were shown to a room over looking the road and not the sea (despite having paid full price for a room). So, we went down to reception to ask for a different room, but we were told they were booked... More

We stayed at the Gwbert Hotel last weekend on a voucher deal and decided to upgrade to a sea view room as the Hotel occupies a fantastic position overlooking the sea. On arrival the hotel looked different than that on the website, in fact it looked a little run down, but inside it’s a very different story. The hotel is... More

The deal included a 3 course meal which we had on our first night, now my partner is a very... More

This was the second time we have stayed at the Gwbert, both times via Kgb deals (now n-crowd) and our two dogs! Each time we stayed in the flagship room,no. 20. This is the room with a bath in the main part. The choice of menu was good, although, I didn't notice any change of the menu in two years.... More

We have stayed at the Gwbert Hotel previously so when our Friends got married last year we gave the an I.O.U. a weekend away with us. What a superb place this is. Beautiful views, lovely rooms and great staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and we had our evening meal on the first night there. On... More

This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. Location is great and well worth a supplement for a sea view looking over Cardigan Bay. Bed was comfy. Large bathroom, small corner shower but all you really need, tea, coffee TV and wardrobe space. Plenty of plug sockets as well. Could do with a freshen up on paint but not... More
