My husband and I have been to the Gwbert Hotel several times over the past few years but only to eat in the Flat Rocks Bistro. This time we booked to stay for 5 nights and had a room with a beautiful seaview. We had a bay window with seating so that the view can be enjoyed from the comfort... More

Unfortunately only there for one night; staying longer would have been the only real improvement I could suggest. Comfy, large bed. Had room with chairs in bay window to watch tide...Lovely! Breakfast was very nice...well cooked, hot, and not a dried up buffet, and served by a pleasant young man.

Went for lunch and overall the food was great with the notable exception of the vegetables. They were clearly microwaved and overdone which was a pity. The Whitebait starter was excellent and the Gammon served as a main was really good too. The side salad was also good.

We have just returned from a 4 night break at the Gwbert Hotel, this being our 2nd visit. We could not fault the Staff or service provided. The food was excellent as always, meals to look forward to, however, we do feel that the bedrooms are looking tired and would benefit from a make over, as problems are starting to... More

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the hotel Bank Holiday Monday. Location was amazing, with beautiful views of the sea. Staff were courteous and the service was excellent. We ate in the restaurant and food was delicious.

We were looking for a hotel with sea views, good food and good staff. The Gwbert Hotel delivered this and more. This young and friendly staff made us feel welcome and relaxed, nothing was too much trouble. They were particularly good with an elderly family member who accompanied us.Attentive but not intrusive they greeted us with a smile and despite being very busy delivered our... took the last room available on-line which turned out to be a family room Rm 18 looking over the car park. Front Desk moved us to Rm 14. Pretty small room, a little shabby but we were told it was all that was available. Bed reasonably comfortable but pillows and duvet polyester and very hot - as this was a... More

I stayed just 1 night and on arrival was given the keys for room 8, when I checked the room it was a tiny double with a view of the car park. I spoke with the reception staff and she was brilliant, she moved me to room 19, which still had a view of the car park but was just... More
