We loved our stay here. Johnny was the perfect host, friendly, accommodating and helpful. He greeted us with a friendly smile and showed us our room. We were the only guests and we were lucky we found his place after finding Skye completely booked. The room was very comfortable, breakfasts were tasty. Johnny helped us plan our day by making... We were going to stay only one night, but Johnny was such a great host we decided to stay one more night. We then felt bad because he gave up a trip to go see his girlfriend on Easter for us, but it was worth it!! Best black pudding, nice fireplace on waiting for you at night, and great tips... More

Our rooms were immaculate and the service we received from Johnny was excellent. The scenery is stunning! We were fortunate enough to see a sea eagle soaring above the B&B. It is the perfect place to watch the stars, admire the landscape....all in all a perfect place to unwind and take in some breathtaking views.

We drove for miles but no regrets! The scenic route was more than enough to make up for any fatigue one will experience. The B and B is situated right in front of a beautiful bay and the calming factor is incredible. Johnny, our host at the B and B, was warm and personal . Unfortunately , we could only... More

This little cottage seems like it is in the middle to no where, but go there and you will be charmed by "no where". There are nice hikes, a wool yarn shop, several artists and two restaurants within walking distance down by the water. Our room had a view of the water and other shore and was nicely appointed. Johnny... More

Excellent B&B and the best host you could wish for - genuinely warm and welcoming, knowledgeable, nothing is too much trouble. A dream holiday: huge and hearty breakfasts, jaw-dropping scenery, epic walks (even saw a whale!), evenings in the local inn, whisky, fresh seafood, stars like an observatory, back to a cosy, spotless room for a perfect night's sleep. We arrived at Lochbay B&B about 1pm. We were seated in the room and all our questions were answered. Later I have noticed that the check in is from 4pm. Two days later we've been to another B&B and the hostess wasn't happy to let as in before 4 pm. After a long drive or walk waiting till 4 pm... More

From the moment we arrived in glorious sunshine , having driven through rain , we knew we had hit a special place. Johnny was a very friendly host, with lots of suggestions for walks and places to eat with lots of stories to tell.
