Well what can I say this place is an absolute gem. Clean comfortable excellent breakfast to die for all in all wonderful. Sue could not do enough for us. Sausages were absolutely delicious. Would love to return again but Sue is taking time out in the summer
Craigrowan is a lovely B&B with great attention to detail in the construction. The owners Sue and Reg take pride in their home, as they should, since they built it themselves. Sue and Reg are as friendly and helpful as you will find. Breakfast is super and includes a great view of Ben More across the loch. Our room was spacious and comfortable, affording a good night's sleep. You won't find a better place to stay anywhere.
I can't recommend this B & B enough, it's a real home from home. Sue couldn't have done any more to make our stay just perfect. Her breakfasts should be LEGEND!!! Lovely, large, clean, warm room with great views across the loch to Ben More from the breakfast room. There are other places we would like to visit but it's so hard to try somewhere else when you just know how warm the welcome is at Craigrowan. It really does feel like you arrive as guests and leave as friends.
I booked a three night stay as a treat for my wife and having never visited Mull before finding Craigrowen proved to be a great stroke of luck The property is very attractive and beautiful furnished & maintained. The location is ideal and the magnificent views are truly special. The owners Sue & Reg are very friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the island. The breakfast was a great start to the day in a wonderful setting and we can’t wait to visit again!
Craigrowan was a perfect overnight for us on our 2-week Scotland holiday. The location on the Isle of Mull was just right. The B&B was outstanding and located in a beautiful location overlooking one of Scotland's lochs. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable. Sue and Reg were terrific hosts and they provided a mean Scottish breakfast. Unequivocal recommendation. Be sure to eat dinner at the Blackbird Bistro in Bunessen (20 minute drive). For a place as remote as this, the food was outstanding and varied. Also, make time to visit the Isle of Iona. The Argyll Arms has a nice pub but dinner service less than adequate. Don't be intimidated by the single-track roads. Just drive ahead and use the numerous pullouts to pass. Above all, be patient and courteous. A quick wave acknowledging passing drivers helps too.…
