We were pleased with our clean, good sized twin room (triple, actually, though we were two guests), a small, but perfectly adequate bathroom, with large bath towels. A wide selection was offered for the full Scottish breakfast, including haggis if you want to try it. There was a large, comfortable sitting room with TV and reading materials. Hospitality tray, hair... More

We stayed for 2 nights in this B&B of Mrs. Keir and we felt welcome here. The room was great and the breakfast was also great. Mrs. Keir was very friendly and helpfull with all the questions, It felt a bit as homecoming.

We stayed for 3 nights and we were very satisfied. We had the family room and it was very spacious. The shower water pressure is heavenly. I always looked forward for a nice hot shower after a long day of exploring. Spotless clean room. The double bed was a bit springy, but apart for that perfect stay. B'fast very tasty... More

Mina Kier's lovely bed and breakfast is a perfect place to stay when visiting the Scottish Highlands. I made Chestnut-Villa my home base for my 7 days in this stunningly beautiful, historic region of Scotland. My room was homey and very clean. Breakfast was very tasty. Mina is the perfect host - she is solicitous for your comfort while not... More

The hostess, Mina, is a lovely, quiet spoken lady. Her home is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. WIFI is available in your spacious room, as is coffee, tea, hot chocolate and some biscuits. Our en-suite bathroom was very clean, roomy and had a shower with great water pressure and no shortage of hot water. There is also a lounge available... More

We visited this b and b on our way north. The accommodation was smart and spotless. The room was spacious and the bathroom facilities of a high standard. We ate in the evening at the Priory Hotel in nearby Beauly and had a lovely meal. On leaving, a pipe band was preparing to play outside which was a nice surprise. The... More

A very comfortable night's sleep - which was needed for our cyclists after a full day in the saddle. As one of 16 overnight stops, this rates very well as it provided everything we needed - a good bed, a nice bathroom, value for money and a good breakfast. I did feel slightly in the way in the morning when... More

Chestnut Villa is very comfortable, and Mina is willing to do extra if necessary to keep it that way. On our first night we were in the large family room, which was spotlessly clean. Second stay we were in a smaller twin room which was also quite comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless, and provided everything we needed. Mina's breakfasts were... More

My partner and I have just returned from a two-night stay at Chestnut Villa while in the area for a wedding, and we were very impressed. The B&B is very well run by Mina who is very accomodating.
