The staff are very helpful, the hotel is clean, there are two car parks but still a bit limited for space. A pub the Caley is integrated. There are no steps in to reception or the lounges, but there are steps to the dining room and to the bedrooms. There is a ramp to the first bedrooms at ground floor... More

Having stayed here a couple of times before myself and a good friend checked in during a road trip around Scotland. The hotel is always clean, rooms are old fashioned but again always clean and friendly helpful staff. Only issue to report is car parking at the hotel can be a bit of a pain if busy!

The hotel is very dated and badly needs refurbishment, and this is reflected in the price. I think it caters mainly to coach parties, and entertainment was provided for them, which resounded up through my room. However as I had arrived too late for dinner, I set out in search of food, and by the time I got back all... More

Hotel is dirty and outdated. Fire-doors were grubby and sticky. The rooms were clean but outdated. Food was like a competition to get the people out of the dining-room as quick as possible. The quality of the food was a disgrace to a cook.

We stayed here in August on a coach trip. After a long journey we were glad to get there. The staff were friendly and checkin quite quick. Our room was on a small corridor with just two rooms. View wasn't too bad, at least we could see a mountain. The room was ok but we couldn't open the window. Bed... More

I was a beat wary about booking a room at this hotel after reading previous reviews, but given its proximity to the ferry terminal, decided to chance it and was very pleasantly surprised. It is literally a two-minute walk from the ferry terminal which doubles as the bus station. The evening of our arrival, there was a nice roaring fire... More

The hotel has an excellent location but is very dated and caters mainly to coach parties. WiFi is only available in the reception area and in this day and age should be everywhere. Our room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the staff very pleasant. If pressed, we would stay again.

Polite and friendly staff and the room was clean and the beds comfortable. Only complaints really are the squeeky floorboards and two leaky kettles! In general needs money spending on it to improve the standard.
