Just got back from Loch Ken Holiday Park, after a last minute camping trip, with my husband, 11 year old daughter and our two little dogs. The views over the Loch were amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff, we had the choice of camping spots, which was right next to the dog walking field, where we could let the two... More

After getting off to the worst star and asked to move our tent the week was a success. It was embarrassing in that the warden clearly told us where to pitch but our neighbours complained and the owner 'asked us nicely' to move. However after this we just enjoyed the week, the kayaks and canoes were both splendid and the... More

We love it here. We chose to come here to start our honeymoon off. Nice friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Great facilities particularly the free really good showers. Ideal location for a nice quiet holiday. Highly recommend the forest drives and the red kite trail too. Thanks you again for another great stay

Just back from another fantastic holiday at Loch Ken Holiday Park. We have taken our tourer here for the past 5 years and will be back again in 2017. Pitches are hard standing and level with good drainage. The facilities are clean and sufficient for the park size, even on the busy camping field there were no queues. The owner... More

I love the big open camping field that overlooks the Loch. Pitch your tent pretty much where you like. Very friendly campsite. Toilets and showers warm and clean. Lots for kids to do and safe for them to 'run wild'

Second stay with kids and had another great time. Plenty of space for camping and really friendly site. Stunning setting and decent stocked shop and new addition of coffee bar is excellent. Friendly staff and clean facilities. This is our favourite site and plan another stay.

Just returned from a 3 night stay (wish it was longer) from Loch Ken Holiday Park with my husband, 3 boys and 2 dogs. I searched various campsites prior to booking as we are quite fussy when it comes to location and facilities etc. We were not disappointed!!! The campsite was in a fantastic location and the scenery was amazing... More

We camped here in our tent for 1 night and thoroughly enjoyed it, wished we could have stayed longer! We took our 3 dogs with us and this was their first camping trip so we weren't sure how they would get on but they were great. There is a field right next to the campsite which we were told we... Great 3 night stay in our motorhome, friendly staff, modern, clean facilities, plenty to do on site with fishing, kayak and boat hire, a well stocked shop and even a kiosk cafe. The site is right on the shore of beautiful loch ken, and an ideal base for touring the galloway forest park or visiting the coast. Brilliant site we'll... More
