I would like to thank all the staff and chef at the Creebridge House Hotel for the outstanding service we received last week. We were very lucky and won a prize to eat in the hotel and as we are not from the area we had no idea what to expect. We arrived to find the most beautiful gardens surrounding...

We have just returned from a 6-day stay at the Creebridge House Hotel, partly as a reunion and partly as a holiday. We were delighted with our stay, the hotel was comfortable, the food excellent and the staff were exceptional, going out of their way to look after us - two 78 year old pensioners! The rest of our group...

Spent three nights here on a long weekend exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. The hotel is positioned close to Newton Stewart but far enough out to be quiet and no road noise. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food (vegetarian) was delicious. Te dining room is obviously popular with both residents and non residents. The room...

A one night stay, with a superb dinner, in a friendly small hotel and with staff who are so different from hotel chains. The breakfast choice was good and the cooked breakfast was freshly cooked (haggis, bacon and poached eggs). We were in transit so only had a quick walk across the bridge into Newton Stewart. A good base for...

Very friendly hotel with welcoming staff. Nice food in restaurant and a very nice setting on the edge of Newton Stewart. Nice pleasant rooms and gardens too. The group of us had a good drink in the bar until the very early hours too!

I'm so glad to see that any negative reviews for Creebridge House refer to people's experiences a few years ago, because we have just returned from the most wonderful stay here and the hotel really does deserve an excellent rating. We visited Newton Stewart en route to a wedding on the Isle of Arran. We arrived quite late due to...

We had a private dinning area and also a private lounge area which was fantastic there were 20 guests and I cannot complement them enough, the staff were brilliant, the food was outstanding. And to say we were such a large party the service was exceptional. It...

The Creebridge House Hotel is a traditional Scottish country house hotel, with 18 ensuite bedrooms, which preserves the peace and tranquility of rural life in elegant surroundings.Your hosts, Stephen, Sarah, Rory,Campbell and the rest of the team look forward to offering you a warm welcome and comfortable stay. The hotel acquired it's name from the nearby River Cree and is situated in 3 acres of garden and woodland, in the village of Minnigaff, at the edge of Kirroughtree forest. The Hotel has a Scottish Tourist Board 3-star rating, 3 AA stars and one AA Rosette for food. There is central heating throughout, with roaring log fires in all the public rooms in winter and plenty of hot water on tap. The hotel's location makes it central for a wide variety of activities, from walking & cycling through the nearby Galloway Forest Park, to golf and fishing so close you can walk to the nearest hotspots. In fact the first tee at Newton Stewart Golf Club is just 400 yards away.
