We have just returned from a lovely weeks holiday spent in Cockle Kitty Cottage. The cottage is set in the most beautiful tranquil location on the outskirts of Kelso. The cottage itself was lovely and really well equipped. There was a fabulous range of chars loungers and hammocks outside to allow us to enjoy outdoor meals and sunbathing whilst enjoying a fabulous uninterrupted view of the fields and hills beyond. The beds and bedding were really comfortable and every little detail had been considered. Archie and Maggie were excellent hosts who were on hand to answer any questions we had but were not in the least intrusive. We would most definitely recommend both this cottage and the area as there are lots of lovely places to visit. Hope to book again soon.

We enjoyed the most fabulous holiday in Kelso in this beautiful accommodation. The situation was idyllic with stunning views of picturesque rolling Border countryside . The standard of living space was exceptional , spotlessly clean and very comfortable . The bed linen and towels were of the highest standard and the attention to detail extraordinary .The kitchen lacked nothing and rooms well appointed and spacious. Our hosts provided comprehensive information about the area and their generous welcome will ensure we return to this lovely part of Scotland .

We have just spent a week at Cockle Kitty Cottage and had a lovely, relaxing time. This is a beautiful part of the world. The cottage was clean, comfy and very well equipped and nothing was too much trouble for Maggie and Archie. We enjoyed walks around the farm, made use of the tennis court and had fun exploring the local area. We would highly recommend Plum Braes Barn as a great place to stay in the Borders.
