Imagine coming to a place where your host is kind, intelligent and interesting and taking great pains to see to it that you have everything you need, and who goes out of his way to answer any questions you might have, and to make sure that you get the very most out of your stay in the Glen Coe area.... We have been travelling in Scotland for 2 1/2 decades, and we've stayed in many B & B's. Craiglinnhe House ranks with the best of them. It is a beautiful 100-plus-year-old stone house perfectly situated on Loch Linnhe, with spectacular views. The location is very convenient for exploring the Highlands, be it Glen Coe, Glen Etive, The Ben Nevis area,... More

We stayed1 night in this B&B. The host was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but correct. We suffered a little from poor sound insulation with the neighbouring rooms. The lounge was pleasant, with a great selection of drinks. The price was affordable. A good place to stay.

I don’t normally write reviews but felt compelled to do so after our brilliant stay at Craiglinnhe House. Lawrence welcomed us on arrival and proved to be a great host throughout. He was happy to help us with restaurant choices, information on the area and even posted us jewellery accidentally left behind in the room! The house itself has an... More

We flew into Glasgow and rented a car. Our trip up through the highlands was beautiful and an easy drive. However, driving on the right side of the car and the left side of the road was a bit tricky. We were about 5 miles from the Craiglinnhe House, and my husband hit a large pothole. The tire instantly went... More

My husband and I stayed with Lawrence at Craiglinnhe House for two nights in August. We were on a ten day road trip through Scotland and Lawrence's B&B was by far our favorite!
