Check in is 4pm so if you arrive early you will find the door locked. Host was very welcoming and tried to book a taxi for us trying 7 different companies. They are missing a trick not to serve evening food - advisable to book somewhere for dinner. Bar is amazing - has 200 different whiskies and the communal Lounge... More

Beautiful location overlooking the Loch. Family room required additional features to accommodate two sets of adults. Tv & tea making facilities in both Rooms, plus a lock on the bathroom door would have been most beneficial. Other residents lacked a friendly nature, with no acknowledgement of others, like sitting in a grave yard in the residents lounge. However, the staff... More

Great B&B, set in an impressive house over looking Lochleven. Check is strictly not before 4pm, in fact the door is locked! Although when open you get a very warm welcome. Our room was a fantastic size overlooking the loch so worth checking when booking. Decor is a outlet tired but not poor. Shower is a tad low in pressure... More

We spent the night here on our way to Glasgow. Lovely, interesting decor. They have a whisky bar downstairs (and I do mean heavy on the whisky)!!! Our room was nice and comfortable. The only problem we had was the Internet could not be accessed in our room (#9), so we would have to go downstairs in order to use... More

We spent one night here on our way to Isle of Skye. The lodge is well located just south of Fort William and is situated on a hill above a picturesque loch. We were assigned to room 5 which appears to have been recently renovated and features a huge bathroom. Thomas was particularly helpful during our stay, from check in... More

We stayed here on Sept 6 and our only regret is that it was only for one night. The rooms were elegant and comfortable, with beautiful views of the loch. The location is great and breakfast was very good. The place has a private bar for guests and we quite enjoyed it. Thomas, who was working the front desk, also... More

Passionate staff who very happily did anything requested of them. Thank you for the fantastic whiskey choice and a mean GnT. We had the last room available but it was definitely no less comfortable than any other. It was extremely fitting of a country lodge. The Lodge has the most fantastic breakfast room with a large array of freshly cooked... More

We booked all of our B&B's online, not knowing what we'd be getting. This place was about 8 miles south of Fort William. Watch out, you might miss the entrance. It's located on a small hill facing the North end of Loch Linnhe. It's an old mansion one might expect to see in a scary movie. In fact, if it... More

This old country house has the most dramatic views and is really pleasantly staffed and presented. The staff were attentive, the breakfast really tasty and the room very large and comfortable. The absence of a privacy blind at the shower room window was a little off- putting (just a voile) is an oversight but all-in-all this place absolutely hits the... More

My boyfriend, Mom and I stayed at Creag Mhor Lodge in May. It was really quite an experience. We shared a family room, which was two rooms joined by a hallway with a bathroom in between. The entrance went into the first room and then lead into a hall towards the other room. Unfortunately, the first room didn’t have a... More
