We paid £135 for one night. Far too expensive. for this lovely old hotel that is desperately in need of some TLC. Food was good, but breakfast was luke warm to cold by 08.30. This hotel is not to be recommended at this price. 4 flights of stairs, no lift and no offer of help

Although this is a convenient location for touring the area from Fort William to Oban, and beyond, it has seen better days. Our room in the attic of the extension was small but very clean. Unfortunately the razor socket didn’t work, the toilet seat was loose and the lining of

Thanks for your feedback, SheilaNewark_Notts. I was sorry to learn that you weren't satisfied with the maintenance and housekeeping standard of the room you occupied. We would have welcomed the opportunity to rectify this at the time, but we shall certainly follow up on the points you've mentioned. We appreciate your kind comments about the staff and the meals. We appreciate that during peak times of service, there can be slight delays, and I'm sorry if this affected the enjoyment of your evening. I hope we can welcome you back in future.

Have just spent a night at this hotel . Were first given a very tired room at the back which had windows which were very difficult to open but when you did the fumes from the kitchens venting system invaded the bedroom. We spoke to reception who very kindly gave us a room

Many thanks for your feedback, HeatherD192. I'm sorry about the inconvenience of moving rooms, but I'm pleased that you found the alternative bedroom comfortable with a lovely view of the surroundings. It's great to hear that the meals were enjoyed, and that you found service friendly. I was sorry to learn that your stay had been disrupted by our fire alarm, which I am sure proved an unwelcome interruption to the visit. Although the alarm was false, we must begin evacuation procedures each time the fire alarm sounds. Inconvenient as this is for all concerned, I’m afraid we have no option but to follow legal guidelines, in order to ensure the safety of our guests and staff alike. We hope to welcome you back in future.

I have stayed here several times and this is a nice hotel, with mostly very friendly staff and a good standard of accommodation and food. The dining staff were fab in particular and dinner in the restaurant was really nice. As a dog friendly hotel, this was great for our elderly
