We stayed here for 2 nights in the luxury suite. We found the room to be very spacious and well appointed - the bed was super comfy and everything was spotlessly clean. Lovely views from the room of Gairloch - and indeed a lovely view from the hotels conservatory too! Staff were all very friendly and attentive. We ate here... More

We arrived early in the evening but without a booking and found a sign out the front saying no tables were available. Despite this we came in from the rain and were pleasantly surprised when we could be accommodated (apparently it was an issue with staff shortages as opposed to overbookings?). I was impressed with the gin menu and had... More

We only visited for dinner and were having a lovely meal here and when I had almost finished my roast lamb I bit on a piece of black plastic which looked like the 'tab' from a tub. I think it may have been in the pot of mint sauce. When we mentioned it to the waitress she very kindly and... More

Recommended by local B&B host but well worth it. Stunning views from both in and outside. Generous portions and reasonably priced. Great stocked bar with plenty of local and varied spirits to chose from (in particular Gins and Whiskys) staff friendly and efficient and informative with questions about local directions etc. A lovely place for a relaxing meal overlooking the... We had lunch here with a Shearings coach group - about 50 of us. We were served soup (best lentil soup I've had in an age), a sandwich selection and the most wonderful shortbread. The staff were friendly and did so well for such a large group. If we are ever back in the area we would return and warmly... More

Our first foray into Wester Ross, and we were not disappointed! The 5 hour journey from home was well worth it. I feel that the warm welcome we received on arrival set the scene for the weekend. The staff were all very friendly and although the hotel and restaurant were very busy (always a good sign) they made us feel... More

We met up with four friends for Sunday dinner. The food was top quality, the prices reasonable. The staff were attentive and friendly. A nice varied menu. The roast dinners were lovely. A good range of puddings too. The cheese board was ample and superb. I would recommend it.

This was our first visit to this area and we loved it. The hotel was fine, we had room 10 with lounge area and Seaview. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was well appointed. We slept well on our 3 nights. Only gripe was the very poor wi-fi that was very intermittent. The food portions were large and quite... More

After consulting the reviews in trip advisor And looking at this hotel website, We booked it in spite of High prices And looked forward to experienced it as one of the highlights of our holidays. Room 12. Single en-suite with sea view. I think the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Had 2 naps just lying there watching TV! Gairloch is a lovely wee spot and this hotel is an airy, open spot to view it and the lovely bay from. The lounges and reception area offer plenary of space and choices of... More
