Our first foray into Wester Ross, and we were not disappointed! The 5 hour journey from home was well worth it. I feel that the warm welcome we received on arrival set the scene for the weekend. The staff were all very friendly and although the hotel and restaurant were very busy (always a good sign) they made us feel... More

We met up with four friends for Sunday dinner. The food was top quality, the prices reasonable. The staff were attentive and friendly. A nice varied menu. The roast dinners were lovely. A good range of puddings too. The cheese board was ample and superb. I would recommend it.

This was our first visit to this area and we loved it. The hotel was fine, we had room 10 with lounge area and Seaview. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was well appointed. We slept well on our 3 nights. Only gripe was the very poor wi-fi that was very intermittent. The food portions were large and quite... More

After consulting the reviews in trip advisor And looking at this hotel website, We booked it in spite of High prices And looked forward to experienced it as one of the highlights of our holidays. Myrtle bank hotel was indeed the most expensive hotels during our 3 week stay in scottland -but probably one of the most disappointing. The hotel... More

Room 12. Single en-suite with sea view. I think the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Had 2 naps just lying there watching TV! Gairloch is a lovely wee spot and this hotel is an airy, open spot to view it and the lovely bay from. The lounges and reception area offer plenary of space and choices of... More

Extensive menu with many gluten free options the fish and chips in batter (not on menu but made as a request) was delicious. The staff were attentive and helpful only let down by the amazing scallops which were huge but raw had to send them back as they were below 5 degrees in the middle replacements came out and we're... Stopped for lunch today, it looks like it's just been refurbished and looks great, we had the Cajun chicken breast with salad & spicy wedges & also the southern fried chicken strips with chunky hand cut chips& salad, delightful. The young girl serving us & approximately 20 people did so by herself taking the orders & drinks as well as... More

Decided to try here after my friend recommended it. Lovely setting right across from the water. Decor inside is lovely. The food is excellent. My husband had steak burger with chips and I had traditional fish and chips and we were not disappointed. The service was good and we had wine and coffee with our meal. The cost of this... More

We had an excellent, large meal, here. There was friendly service and it was very good value for money. Good choice of traditional, home-cooked meals. Highly recommended. We could not have managed 3 courses, but there was a lovely choice. Nice views out over a slightly stormy sea.

I found this place by chance whilst on a solo tour of the highlands. I received a warm welcome at reception and was given the choice of two rooms of which I took room 12 with a very comfortable large single bed an a view over the water. I had a beautiful cream tea on the first afternoon and a... More
