For 2 days the staff of this place looked after us with the utmost attention, in particular Alexander & Louise, thank you, this inn is positioned in a wonderful spot with a lovely running stream & trees with bird life & also a art house or gallery adjacent. The meals are tasty & plentiful with a influence on seafood, there... More

Only stopped in for some lunch and a chance to dry off, but so glad we did! Even if you aren't staying here I highly recommend popping in. The food was fresh and very tasty. The service was great. Will definitely return again (hopefully in the sunshine)

Very comfortable overnight stay. Managed to fit five of us into the family room (king size, bunk beds and fold out bed) with room to spare. Ensuite shower room was clean with lovely shower. Tea, coffee etc supplied plus useful information on the area. We had an evening meal downstairs which was delicious, as was breakfast the following morning. All... More

A mixed experience. The location is great and the rooms are adequate, but not special. The problem is that the young staff seem to lack training and supervision seems negligible. It's not that they lack enthusiasm (although some do) it's just a lack of direction. Service in the restaurant was very slow although the food was fine. Oddly, the server... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night while doing the Northcoast 500 tour around the coast of Scotland. We received a friendly welcome and had a nice, comfy, good sized room. We ate in the restaurant where the service was friendly, informal and very helpful and we enjoyed the food very much. There is also a bar which... More

Staff are really friendly and food is fabulous. They have a lovely selection of books for guests which was a nice touch. We were lucky to have room with balcony (room 10) which was great place to sit out in sunshine. Picked a midge free time too which was a distinct bonus!

We have been here on many occassions as the location is excellent and the food very good! However, the room this time was a let down as it was cramped and had a stone floor instead of the usual carpet. The worst part was the wet room which was designed so that when you showered everything in the room got... More

This was a return visit to the Old Inn restaurant, where we had very good food last year. We were not disappointed as we had excellent food and service on both the nights we dined in a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. On the first evening after superb club claws I had a delicious dish of langoustines and calamari washed... More

I stayed at the Old Inn in Gairloch last night although very busy the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was good, location beautiful, my room was clean, rm 7 only down side was the extraction fan from the kitchen which I had to ask to be switched off at 22.45, as the room cost £106.00 B&B, single occupancy,...
