Nice rooms and friendly staff, and close enough to walk down to the harbour, I never give 5 but was also slightly disappointed in the take out breakfast but to be fair it was ready for 5.30am when we left. I would go back. The breakfast room looked nice if we had hung around. Parking was good

Having stated here before I had no hesitation in booking again for our walking trip. I was not disappointed. I was on my own in a huge room in which was big enough for an average sized family. everything was new, spotless and had a huge bathroom. Evening Meal, beer, breakfast and staff all excellent. I will hopefully be back... More

We decided on a last minute break away and wanted to be fairly close to Whitby, There was 4 of us and we went for a family room. We were greeted by a very nice lady and shown to our room. The room was lovely big and bright and very clean. There was tea, coffee, water and hot chocolate in... More

Arrived here as a last minute getaway and was a little nervous as bar area was a little rustic. Was shown to our room by a really pleasant young man and was blown away by the room. Big spacious with high ceilings and great views. Nice modern ensuite and comfy bed. Breakfast was fab and filling. Would definitely stay here... More

We stayed with our son (9 year old) as a base to explore Staithes and the local area. The rooms are fresh and spacious and the ensuite new, clean with great power shower. We ate at the pub downstairs and the food was great, as were breakfasts too. Bare in mind it's a b&b and not a hotel with lifts... More

Booked in here for a night whilst visiting Staithes. Very impressed with our room which was very large and tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed, big tv. I would have liked harder pillows but thats a persinal preference. I was slightly worried it might ne a bit noisy staying in an inn however it was very peaceful indeed. Our room was right... More

Had the pleasure of stopping at this hotel whilst walking along the Cleveland Way. The room was very clean and well presented. The staff could not do enough to assist when I explained what I was doing (110 miles in 4 days, walking). The food was reasonably priced, for the area, but the bonus was it tasted fantastic. Would recommend... More

The room was lovely, clean and spacious, well equipped and a lovely supply of toiletries and beverages (and biscuits) replenished daily. We were in room 10 - a family room and have no complaints although the four flights of stairs were a struggle at the end of a long day and I am glad we didn't have to carry a... More
