I visited here as I fancied some good carbs guilt free! I previously had Polo Milanese and was very disappointed this scrummy dish had been taken off the menu! Nonetheless I settled for a spinach and ricotta starter (very large portion, one would be enough for two to share) and then a pizza - afterall I had travelled all the... More

Actually think this was the best food I've ever had! Compared to anything it tasted to die for. I had soup of the day, lasagne and then sticky toffee pudding. All homemade food and service was brilliant! Expensive but worth every penny! Thanks

arrived on the off chance for sunday lunch for four and found the place nearly empty, service was adequate , the food was very tasty but first look at the menu was a bit frightning as the first main course shown was £22.50 but as you look down the prices were more reasonable , good selection to suit everyone, from... I came here for a late dinner and was very impressed at the food. I had the pollo milanese and it was very generously size and tasted amazing! I am quite shocked to see there are so many bad reviews for this place. Service was fine and not too slow. After enjoying my meal I was prepared to give 5... More

Stayed here at the weekend, in fact we had 4 rooms and ate dinner in the restaurant. I think I can safely say it was the worst service from the rudest staff I have ever experienced in my life. The rooms were dirty with mould growing in the showers, dead spiders in the sink, hair on the floor and the... More

My wife and me went for lunch to the Castle Inn, because it had been recommended by a friend for its good and interesting Italian food. When we arrived around an hour after lunchtime the place was basically empty and that for a reason. Overall, I was neither impressed with the aging, slightly untidy and featureless interiors of the Restaurant... More

My wife & I with 2 visiting guests booked The Castle for lunch at the weekend. When we arrived for our allocated time of 17:30, the place was extremely quiet & we were shown to a round table for 4. I opted to go to the bar & get some refreshments, a pint of lager, a glass of sparkling wine... More

Stayed here for one night. The rooms were fine. Clean and comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant across the road was very good. However the fire alarm went off at 7.55 am the next morning. We all vacated the building and stood outside the building. Fifteen minutes later, nothing happened. No fire engine, police, management. We went back inside.... More

Booked this room for a business trip stay whilst doing business in Corby. The hotel is a very simple, budget, motel style hotel, with rooms in a separate sleeping block with no amenities on site. Rooms are basic , but have TV, free wi fi, and tea/coffee making facilities, shower room is small and basic. The hotel is not close... More

Billeted in the Sleeper across the road from the restaurant we arrived to be locked out, not a good start. The room was basic (boys scout dorm sprang to mind but the price indicated it would be - £35 p.n). Ill fitting single glazed windows meant the whole party was particularly cold all night. The bedding was meagre, think tracing... More
