What a great place in a lovely location. Ideal for touring the Cotswolds. Beautifully fitted out quality rooms. High quality. Great value. The owners obviously really care about the place and we felt very welcomed. Not tried the food (was closed after Xmas) but all the locals say it's top notch.

Stayed this weekend for 2 nights, 1st night we had dinner at the restaurant and tried the tapas. Very nice and attentive service, nothing was too much trouble. They surprised us with an anniversary desert! Room was nice, more of a suite with a sitting room and bathroom, everything was complimentary - hair dryer and iron available in the room,... More

Very stylish rooms with space to sit and enjoy looking over town. Great breakfast with homemade sour dough toast and homemade preserves. Friendly staff. Slightly let down by running out of hot water. All in all an enjoyable stay in a very pretty part of the world.

The bed was comfortable , with crisp white sheets. Nice new shower room & a sitting area. I liked the stained glass windows in our room. We experienced great service. The location is in a tranquil part of Nailsworth . Well located for our cycle tour. Map available from the tourist office. Be warned the main restaurant is not open... More

We stayed two nights and found the nicely appointed room very comfortable. There is a pub nearby that served a nice meal; parking is on the street but not a problem. Breakfast was a simple continental style, but quite adequate. Our hostess Mandy was super in every respect. A bonus for travellers is the coin laundry in the near-by street.

We stayed here for a couple of nights when attending a wedding nearby. We were in the Chestnut room. Very nice room with a living area with sofa. The only thing we found odd was no door on the bathroom! You enter the bathroom from the living area, so someone on the sofa could see someone sitting on the toilet!... More

Stunning room and touches to make stay exquisitely relaxing. Staff so friendly and accommodated all individual's needs speedily and efficiently. Definitely return stay planned so can try the restaurant, after the deliciously divinely cooked breakfast.

The room was bedsit loft conversion. Access was via external staircase at the rear of the restaurant. En suite facilities were off the lounge area with no separating door. Only ventilation was from Velux windows over lounge area and shower respectively. Sleeping area was stuffy and the bed squeaked when either party moved. Noise from adjoining properties continued after 10... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the Wild Garlic rooms (Shortwood) last weekend, we also dined in both the restaurant and the tapas bar on Friday and Saturday night respectively. I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff who were consistently friendly, attentive and very clearly making an effort to make us feel welcome. Nice... More

Stayed at the Wild Garlic with my family for a rest and was treated to a delightful 24 hours. We were greeted by the Manager Henry upon our arrival and shown straight to our rooms. The restaurant has only three bedrooms but they have character, are roomy, clean and have all that is needed. Beds were very comfortable. The evening... More
