Beautiful peaceful location with mature trees and a gorgeous water-lily fishpond. There were 8 of us, easily accommodated in comfortable rooms in old beamed farmhouse and newer garden annexe. We were offered tea and home-made cake when we all arrived and the most delicious breakfasts the next morning. Some of us enjoyed trying the exotic hot tub, others walked in...

Thanks very much for your review. It's lovely when guests take advantage of the facilities here- Peter, in particular deserves recognition for the efforts he puts into the garden and much of the landscaping ideas come from him. We've now introduced a heron scarer (squirt of water)- just to give the fish a fighting chance but it would seem we...

We stayed here in one of garden rooms which are seperate to the main house. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the heated pool or the hot tub as our stay was too short but they both looked appealing. We arrived at around 3pm and were offered tea and cake in the main house. That gave us the chance to...

On the positive side, I'm glad you enjoyed the peace and quiet here and the super-kingsized bed... It is 6 feet wide, so lots of space, even for restless sleepers. The locality is always peaceful and these rooms look out over a rural landscape with your own garden furniture for balmy evenings. But I was sorry to read about the...

What a lovely peaceful location with such caring, helpful hosts. We (2 adults, 2 kids) thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms very clean and we loved the breakfasts each morning. Our boys still speak fondly of the hosts & of feeding the chickens. Lovely eggs. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was...

Thanks for your review and I'm pleased you arrived safely back in Australia. It was a pleasure to meet all four of you- those boys are a credit to you both! I'm not sure our chickens have had quite so much attention since the boys left but they are all still giving us an egg a day- yummy for breakfast.

This B&B was a perfect stay in the country. All accommodations were excellent and our hosts, Irene and Peter, could not have been more helpful and interesting. We enjoyed their company as well as their first class amenities. The farm is a little difficult to find on the first try-- our GPS was not connecting. Our room was roomy with...

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and although there was a group here swimming, I think your decision to stay out of the water was perfectly understandable- too cold for me too. Peter loves talking with guests about history (as a Cambridge Don - you get some incredible knowledge from him) and about WW2 and his father's role training pilots....

Difficult to find, their telephone was down and then the gate required to be opened electronically! Irene's welcome eventually overcame these difficulties, until we had to remove our shoes to go upstairs - "light carpets." Somewhat OTT, we thought! Downstairs there was antique furniture, but a smoky air about the lounge, presumably from the log fire, although not alight whilst...

Hmm - like the parson'e egg... good in parts. To explain why we do things the way we do might help others. All guests are welcomed with the offer of home made cakes/ scones or biscuits but not everyone wants to have them. Warner's B&B is in deep countryside and there are many footpaths right from the doorstep... and a...

Nine family members stayed for Fri and Sat nights to attend a wedding. From our chocolate cake and tea welcome we gathered things were going to be good. Well, thank you for your review.. what a pleasure to see how much you all enjoyed your stay. We do try to remember what our guests like and Peter is a big tea fan, so he knows how much it means to have tea the way you like it! Maybe come back next summer when you can enjoy the swimming...

We stayed at Warners Farm for a bank holiday break with our two children. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the children to run around too.

Whole heartedly recommend Warner's Farm. Friendly and helpful management, beautiful location and surroundings. Our room and bathroom were fresh and clean having been recently refurbished. Very tasty breakfast. When we visited it was a beautiful morning and we were able to have our breakfast by the pool. We will definitely be booking here again!

Thanks for your review- I'm glad you appreciated the breakfasts- I'll pass on your gratitude to 'our girls'- they are laying very well at the moment. Of course the weather is uncontrollable, but this hot weather has given us 26 degrees heat in the pool - swimming has become a major attraction. Do come again- we'd love to see you.

Thank you for reviewing our place, it was lovely to meet you and I really hope you come back- maybe with the children next time? We try to make each stay memorable and our chickens are the latest development for us, providing food miles measured in metres, not miles! I'm glad you enjoyed it all.
