As if the view were not enough, our room was enormous and beautifully appointed. The bathroom with a gorgeous stone wall that recalls those one sees in the countryside was as large as many London bedsits. Every amenity you could ask for and a delicious and very filling breakfast. Everyone working in this hotel (and the Seafood Restaurant) was friendly... More

Our trip to Padstein was very very last minute and proved to be not the slightest worry as the Rick Stein folk were exceedingly accommodating and even with my mobile cutting of repeatedly, we worked out there were a couple of rooms available and as we were only an hour away they kindly reserved both for us pending arrival. We... More

We had a fabulous room with space , views and great bathroom space and layout . Beautiful rooms have been created in this lovely stone house , half way up the hill overlooking Padstow and just behind Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant. This property is also one of his . Really worth a stay!

St Edmunds is a detached house (not a hotel) just up the lane from the Fish Restaurant. It has six bedrooms, the upstairs ones at the front with good views across the estuary from Juliet balconies and the ground floor rooms with French windows their own patio areas with sun loungers etc. Our (upstairs) room was large with a very... Stayed for a second time in the Treyarnon room at St Edmunds House. Yet again a fantastic visit. Had a two night deal including dinner in the seafood restaurant and cafe. Not cheap but value for money as the quality of the accommodation and food is beyond excellent. The staff are without exception well informed, friendly and approachable. In fact... More

We had the 2 night Dinner B&B special which was relatively good value; subtracting what the dinners would have cost, a B&B for 2 people in the Polzean room at St Edmunds worked out at less than £150 a night which is less than half the regular price I think, and it seemed about right. The room was well appointed,... More

We booked here for 3 nights and were in Padstow for the May Day "Obby Oss" celebrations which were wonderful. Our room was superb with views over the estuary and our deal included eating at The Seafood Restaurant and St Petroc's Bistro, both of which were excellent. . All the staff were friendly and welcoming, all the food we ate... More

My partner and myself stayed here for two nights from the 8th to the 10th April 2016. We have stayed here a couple of times in the past and love the accommodation and Padstow. We also sail to Padstow on a regular basis as it is such a beautiful town. My partner is also a big Rick Stein fan and... More

Well my husband suggested Padstow for my birthday weekend with dinner at the seafood restaurant. I've always wanted to go, previous Cornwall trips had only managed the fish and chips on the quay with longing looks at the seafood restaurant. We were lucky the website offered a winter special weekend break which included dinner on both the Friday and Saturday... More

The room was perfect with everything you could wish for. It was the best nights sleep I have had in a long time the bed and linen were so comfortable. The location is perfect right in the centre of Padstow . The staff are really attentive and go out of their way to be helpful .
