I decided to book here after visiting Padstow for many years and reading the good reviews. We were not disappointed. Our pacifist room was simple but lovely and lead out onto a fabulous roof terrace. Breakfast was great, service was excellent. Needless to say we will be booking again.

A gorgeous location Cornwall is incredibly quaint. The room we had was very well fitted out and we had a delicious breakfast. We bought fish n chips which were scrumptious from the now famous Rick Stein's Fish and Chip store however sadly the service was less than optimal.Perhaps its time to rethink customer service and not take continued custom for... Having watched many of Mr. Stein's TV cookery classes from Spain we had talked about making a visit and savouring his food, maybe with luck even see the great man. We live in Madrid so fish and seafood are important in our diet. It's hard to judge anywhere when you compare it to the quality of the fish and seafood... More

Birthday celebration lunch to remember .... for the great service, lovely ambience, good (not excellent) food and very high price! I would give the mixed seafood plates a miss (a bit dull) and go for dishes which have tested the chefs, which were better. Worth visiting once if there's money burning a hole in your wallet.

All the staff provide a first class service and nothing is too much trouble, you just have to ask. The pillows were too soft for us, but pillows are very personal. The wicker chairs in the room are functional, but not comfortable. The sun deck is a great place to have a drink. We met lots of lovely people during... More

Just returned from a weekend break at The Seafood accommodation. We booked a generous room which came with a small private terrace. The large bathroom consisted of a shower, separate bath, fluffy towels, robes and quality products. The bedroom had a very comfortable four poster bed, lots of storage and a smart tv. Quality teas and coffee were in the... More

I visited this restaurant as part of a honeymoon treat. We came at lunch and eaten from the specific lunch menu. On arrival we were guided straight to our tables and bread and olives were available to eat while we chose our food. The lunch menu was £40 for 3 courses which yes it sounds a little pricey but I... Seriously would recommend this restaurant to anyone!! The food was fab! My whole family loved every element of the evening, from the staff and the atmosphere.... But mostly the food. We received complimentary mackerel and olives on arrival, freshly made bread at the table, which was brilliant! I would eat here every year on holiday.

We booked online several months in advance..........so glad we did. We weren't disappointed. The food, wines and service were exceptional. The only downside is the lack of parking. Its best to use the Park and Ride at the top of the hill - £4 flat rate. It takes all the stress away.

Treated my husband to a night here for his 50th birthday and it was amazing. I opted for an estuary room with the celebration package and it was worth every penny. We arrived at 2pm and had champagne and smoked salmon brought to our room where we could sit by the double doors overlooking the street and the estuary, we... More
