Rubbish would not recommend. Food terrible and interior very shabby and staff not great. What a waste of history in Padstow very disappointing . Great location and looked promising wouldn't recommend please avoid other than for a drink .

Didn't actually stay here but would have liked to. Lovely pub with history and lovely fire place. We' were treated like if we were locals. The bar staff were really friendly (Stuart and didn't catch the barmaids name) as were the locals. Went back every day. Looking forward to seeing you all next year!

Padstow is always rammed with day trippers, holiday makers and Stein worshippers - so it can be a bit overwhelming. All the more reason therefore to check out this quaint old pub up a (relatively) quiet side street. Indeed amazingly the crowds (and today was particularly busy) seemed to have avoided the London Inn which made the place all the...

As a former Foreign Correspondent, I have eaten in many harbours and sea fronts around the world. The crab sandwiches that we had in the London Inn at Padstow last week were the best I have ever tasted! Generous helpings of delicious white meat of crabs not long out of the sea between fresh slices of granary bread. Rick Stein's...

Visited here with our young daughter. We booked an early table at 6.45pm in the restaurant and ordered then. The pub was busy and at 7.30pm we were informed that the dish we had ordered was no longer available. We ordered again to be told that that choice was now also unavailable. Think it was just bad luck as clearly...

Fortunately we only needed to stay for one night as although the room was large and the only real redeeming factor was the size and comfort of the bed, the bathroom had seen better days! The shelf was pretty much hanging off the wall, you wouldn't have put anything on it. In the shower there is a handrail which was...

The worst meal I have ever had. Wondered why it was so easy to get a table to eat but now know why !. Ordered Cornish ham egg and chips for 8.95 and got a piece of processed ham ( you can get 5 pieces from supermarkets for 2.00) egg chip's and salad. Ordered a burger and the bun was...

Hi thankyou very much for your review . Firstly our game is locally sliced not from your average shop .the burger bun can not be warmer than the burger as the bun is toasted before the burger is put together . The meal you had could not have been that bad as you ate everything on your plates your were...

The food was awsome, the landlord was just so friendly, the Cornish Rattler just at the right temp and place is worth being padstow number 1 place to drink, you can't miss this place if your visiting the upper deck decking area is a sun trap, just need mountain boots to climb the steps, but your away from the busy...

Very old quaint pub but very much in need of refurbishment. Things just added adhoc it really needs gutting and complete redecoration. Beds nice and soft, rooms big WiFi best of our trip did not go off at all (Miracle) The food was ok both breakfast and evenings, not extensive menus but adequate, but was everything with chips, even mussels....

This Padstow pub is definitely not your typical polished-up Padstow, it is a throwback to pre- Stein days. Limited seating, small bar, but does exactly what it says. Good ales, ciders and wine. If you wish to get out of the current Padstow glitz and polish, then you'll enjoy your visit as we did.
