Very old quaint pub but very much in need of refurbishment. Things just added adhoc it really needs gutting and complete redecoration. Beds nice and soft, rooms big WiFi best of our trip did not go off at all (Miracle) The food was ok both breakfast and evenings, not extensive menus but adequate, but was everything with chips, even mussels.... This Padstow pub is definitely not your typical polished-up Padstow, it is a throwback to pre- Stein days. Limited seating, small bar, but does exactly what it says. Good ales, ciders and wine. If you wish to get out of the current Padstow glitz and polish, then you'll enjoy your visit as we did.

Posh it ain't, but it's a clean and comfortable place to stay. It's a proper pub - lots of locals that made us feel welcome enough. The breakfast was lovely. The landlord and staff sometimes came across as a bit standoffish ... Once you speak to them properly though they are friendly and kind. The toilet wasn't in the en-suite... More

I couldn't find a place to park, even with my disabled badge, so was just going back to our Hotel, when I spotted a disabled parking place, just around the corner form the London inn. My wife walked about and did some shopping, looking for a rock sweet shop. I sat inside the London inn and waited her return. The... More

Four of us - one couple, two singletons - spend the first night of another seven days walking the SW Coast path. Our stay coincides with the last of the Euro Football Championships' group stage matches. Our host and hostess offer a friendly welcome, the latter is slightly harassed, and we are shown to very clean and comfortable rooms. Neither... More

Had a quick pint here early on a Sunday evening. Friendly service in a proper old fashioned pub. It's a bit rough around the edges but that for me is its main appeal. We didn't eat but had a look through the menu, which looks nice and affordable. I'd go back for a pint and maybe something to eat.

We had an enjoyable 3 night stay. The council car park is close by where we left our car for £7/day. The breakfast choices are really good and Tim makes a great coffee! The bar meals were good and the Chinese take away just across the road was good for Sunday night when bar meals aren't available. The rooms are... More

We stayed in the Schooner room. Very clean, brilliant shower and good wardrobe space. The shower and sink is in the ensuite within the room and the toilet just outside across the hall and for the use of the Schooner room only. The breakfast is great and the staff very pleasant. In terms of location the London Inn is pretty... More

Lovely, traditional Cornish Pub, dog friendly too! We had 'whale on a plate' for lunch - which was extremely tasty! A nice selection of local ales and friendly service. Definitely recommend this to all.

We had a one night stay just after Easter. Rooms were clean and well furnished. Breakfast was good. All in all good value for money especially compared to some over inflated rates in Padstow! Rooms are above the pub so some noise but not to loud or late.
