We are so happy with our recent trip to Padstow and staying at Strand House was the icing on the cake! Sarah knew everything about the local area, she was very helpful and we felt at ease as soon as we met her, especially as she was so kind to our little sausage dog Stanley and had even supplied him...

I can't speak of the accommodation as I never got to stay after booking what was to be a surprise birthday weekend for my partner. I made the booking via booking.com and received confirmation. A few days before the weekend I rang to enquire about cycle storage only to be told by the landlady that she had already booked it...

This gentleman was certainly NOT treated awfully. Yes I did double book the room which was very unfortunate, I tried to explain to the customer that I was away and had no signal on my phone, two bookings came in and I took the first one. I found 2 other places on the Harbour with empty rooms . The "Gentleman"...

Two of us stayed here for two nights in October. Sarah was not available to greet us but she contacted me and made sure we knew how to get there and get into the property. The house is lovely and right on the front overlooking Padstow harbour. Walking distance to everything. The room we had was large and clean with...

Comfortable, central accommodation. Sarah gave us some great tips on where to go and eat if want to avoid the Stein dynasty!! All the little touches in the room made it more special e.g fresh milk for drinks, sweets, biscuits etc.

Written on behalf of my Mum and Dad that recently stayed here.. Spot of luck getting this room at the last minute. The lovely owner, Sarah was most accommodating, kind and helpful - made us, and our puppy more than welcome. Fantastic room, spotlessly clean (and my Mum's got OCDs), with every amenity you could need. Especially enjoyed the chocolate...

We haven't written a review before although always read them! But this lovely place was well worth a review. Mother, daughter and dog visited for a few days in September. Sarah is a lovely lady who owns a beautiful house in a super location in the heart of Padstow. The house is split into 3 double/twin rooms, all having a...

Well after a very VERY long driving journey, I was relieved to of arrived at the b&b. Got a very warm welcoming by Sarah who made our stay very comfortable unlike other places I have stayed at. We stayed in the largest guest room called bolitho, which had a lounge/diner area, a spacious fully equipped kitchen area with a fridge/freezer,...

These people booked the self catering apartment " Bolitho." This does not come with Breakfast but because they thought it did I didn't want them to be disappointed so I told them to have Breakfast at the Basement Bistro at my expense. Maybe they should be saying thank you instead of complaining.

We were lucky to be able to make a last minute booking and it turned out to be in the large bedroom with sitting room and kitchen overlooking the harbour. Sarah was so helpful and friendly and made our stay perfect. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the whole place was spotless.

We couldn't have asked for a better guest house than this when we were travelling through Cornwall! Rooms are spacious and offer a patio with direct views to sea and charming village Padstow. A gem! Will definitely go back. N & J.
