Stayed overnight and had no qualms at all. Room big and clean, but unfortunately not much of a view. Perfect spot in the middle of Padstow with parking included in the price. Didn't eat here apart from breakfast, which was ok nothing special.

We have been here for lunch 3 times in the past few months. The first visit was pretty positive with the food freshly cooked and delicious if a trifle expensive.(Well its Padstow so expect prices to be higher). The 2 following visits were extremely disappointing. Fish and chips in Padstow should be a wonderful and plentiful. It's a fishing port... More

We picked the Ship hotel for its location in Padstow and also because it had free parking. We did find it tricky to find the car park to the hotel- due to little narrow streets and perhaps our directions could have been a bit better- but nothing to do with the hotel. we found the car park which was above... Very busy place to eat. Tables outside and inside. Very varied menu. Friendly and helpful staff. Children and dogs very welcome. Very close to the harbour on one of the narrow shopping streets. Try the crab sandwich. They are delicious.

I did not enjoy my stay here, rather than write my opinions though I will share the facts - The bedroom was very basic. The ensuite 'shower room' was so very small there wasn't enough room for the basin, which was in the bedroom. Breakfast - there was a loud, large television blaring in the dining room at 8am. Orange... More

Hot walking around the narrow streets of Padstow and it was getting to lunch time, Spotted a space on an outside table at this establishment. Very good selection of food on the menu, our meals went down well with a glass of wine. Very prompt service in delivering our lunches and clearing the tables. Would definitely visit again if in... We ate here for our evening meal. We have been before at lunchtime and normally would order from the main menu. We decided this time to have the seafood platter from the specials board. It was £39 and my husband and I shared it and we were not disappointed. It was fantastic and was huge! Our 3 year old little... More

We only ate here so my review is only based on that! The guy that took my food order was incredibly impatient with me, right up until the point that he realised he'd made an error with my order. Seemed to be much nicer then - I'm never sure why people blow hot and cold like this!! Service was fine,... More

We stayed here last week in room 8 stated as premium!!! Far from it, 4 nights £490 rip off. Room 8 not meant for the above average size person. Low ceiling attic with restricted head height in places, more like staff quarters, 1 single bed + 4' 6" bed, cheap low hard mattress, Ikea type furniture, no where to do hair... More

Situated in the heart of Padstow town this pub is plentiful in size with lots of indoor seating and a outside area at the front with a moveable roof. Menu consists of approx 14 main menus averaging circa £14-15 Good portion sizes and all hearty good. Accept children and high chairs are available. A good pub too if you just... More
