Lovely house & tranquil location. Bedroom very high standard with a huge comfy bed. Only down side was no lock on bedroom door. As B&B is multiple occupancy I didn't feel secure as at any time you could have a visit from someone entering your room by mistake.Never had this problem before , home or abroad.

Thimbles is a truly magic place. Vikki and Simon work very hard to maintain garden, house and fields. And it shows. Very very welcoming hosts. We were visiting from Australia and Vikki welcomed my daughter and her bridesmaids getting dressed here before the church... And we took over here garden to do the flowers too!! Just perfect.. I would highly...

The place looked very nice on the website but when we arrived it looked even better : delightful and cosy cottage, magnificient garden and surroundings, lovely lake, genuine romantic countryside. A most charming and comfortable house in which to stay, We arrived early in the afternoon to be greeted by Vicki -the owner standing in the road looking for us as we were stupidly driving up and down the road looking for the house. It is clearly visible! We were en route to the Glyndebourne Opera about 20 minutes away,...

We stayed at Thimbles again this year as it is so nice, and Vikki makes us warmly welcome. Great room and surroundings. There are some lovely places to visit in the area and good pub restaurants nearby. We'll doubtless be back next year, say no more!
