Booked for one night, we also took out little dog. The hotel staff were very welcoming, the room was nice. We ate in the bar area with the dog and the meal was very nice. The breakfast was very nice and even our little pooch got a sausage. Lovely walks along the dog along the beach. Will definitely return.

Our second visit staying at Nether Abbey and again all very good. Food was all amazing would highly recommend the sharing platter. Great atmosphere as very popular with locals. However, by far what makes this place special is the staff. Fantastic service nothing too much trouble and always with a friendly chat and smile. (Special mention for the young dark...

Stayed for one night after playing golf at North Berwick. Good double room, decent bathroom with a good shower. The bar is excellent with great choice of beers and service. Breakfast is efficient and I had a good smoked haddock. This would be my first choice hotel in North Berwick.

The Nether Abbey has alway been a favourite place for us to eat for a reliable evening meal. On numerous occasion my husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed good quality, well prepared local produce. This week I was part of of group of 12people for Christmas lunch. My starter, a blue cheese tartlet, was delicious. I opted for the turkey...

I am glad that you enjoy visiting us at the Nether Abbey and was disappointed to read that you didn't enjoy your turkey. We like to rectify any mistakes we make on the day and always try to ensure that everybody leaves happy. We have served upwards of 200 turkey dinners in December and have had nothing but compliments. Stayed here 2 nights on business. The hotel is ~10 min walk from the station. It appears to have been recently modernised; my room was warm, spacious and immaculate. Breakfast was freshly prepared with a range of choices. The full Scottish is recommended if you intend to skip lunch. We also ate dinner in the restaurant on both nights. Food...

We all had a really nice meal here. The older waiter serving us was fantastic and even though a order was wrong (maybe our fault) nothing was to much for him. Been here a couple times and been impressed. Parking can be hard though. Will be back!

What an awesome place to be. The friendly and attentive staff are definitely a bonus along with good food, and more importantly a great pint. A nice lounge area to sit and enjoy reading my paper (or theirs when I forget) And the selection of finest crisps never fail to amaze me. Love going here alone, with my other half...

Lovely hotel within walking distance of the seaside. The room was very clean and quiet in the evening. Staff was willing to serve. Wifi was good. We had dinner and drinks, very good. Took a walk to the seaside, which was beautiful at sunset.

Have had lunch twice this week in the Nether Abbey & both times the food was fab. On the one day we went in with our dog into the Fly Half bar & both had the mussels which were great . I think the bar maid was having a bad day though as she struggled to speak or smile whilst...
