North Berwick is a delightful place to visit. A beautiful coast line and interesting small shops and restaurants. It is just half an hour by train from the centre of Edinburgh. Glengair is a very beautiful B&B in which to stay - a stylish, elegant Edwardian house with very comfortable rooms. Val and George made us incredibly welcome and we...

Maggie and Ray are totally professional and treated our group very special, as they did with all of their guests. The rooms were immaculate, serviced and cleaned very professionally every day, very reasonably priced, and with a clear set of guidelines so the guests could adjust to the residence and enjoy not only the accommodations but the breakfasts as well....

My husband took me to North Berwick on a day trip several years ago and I have longed to return ever since. When we were planning our trip this past summer, I looked at many B&B websites but am so glad I chose Glengair! From the moment we stepped through the gate, I felt at home. The gardens are beautiful...

My wife and I already think that North Berwick, Scotland is the most beautiful, tranquil corner of the entire world...and it was made even better by the hospitality of Val and Charles. Not only are the B&B accommodations very comfortable, the location is just up the hill from the city centre...AND...the breakfasts are made with eggs and produce that come...

What a beautiful B & B. Val and Charles were very hospitable hosts and the breakfast was tremendous. Lovely gardens with lots of wonderful vistas of the Firth of Forth. North Berwick was charming and we definitely would love to come back for another short break.

We stayed here for 1 night for a wedding nearby and we couldn't fault it. The room we had was absolutely lovely - lots of natural sunlight and an extremely comfy bed. Breakfast in the morning was excellent (especially given our sore heads) - freshly laid eggs from the hens in the garden, a wide choice of cereals and lots...

Why stay anywhere else when visiting Edinburgh, or playing golf in the North Berwick area? Only 30 mins by train from Edinburgh, Glengair is in a quiet road in N.Berwick only minutes on foot from the beach and the shops. After a warm welcome from owners Charles and Val we went to our rooms which were spotless and beautifully decorated....

Beautiful, spotless, well appointed bedrooms in a most comfortable house which feels like home. Val cooks and Charles serves the excellent breakfast and if all you have is Vals delicious home made Strawberry preserve then you will not be disappointed. The garden is a treat. If you want to eat in North Berwick in the evening then book ahead or...

We stayed 4 nights at Glengair and Val and Charles were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was superb with a wide choice, the room was very comfortable, the en-suite well appointed with very nice toiletries and all were spotlessly clean. Also appreciated the free wifi. Will certainly come again.

Stayed at Glengair for the second time and it more than lived up to last year. Val and Charles are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. We were treated as individuals, Val remembered our likes and dislikes from last year's visit. The B&B is centrally located and has easy access to all amenities. The accommodation is first...
