Recently stayed here for 3 nights with our two well behaved dogs in the Queen's warehouse room and warmly welcomed by Peter on arrival. We were pleasantly surprised to find the dog's even had their own duvet bed on the floor which they soon settled into. Everywhere was very clean and this room suited our needs as also had a... More

We stayed here recently whilst on a short break. The location is brilliant, situated just off the main area along the seafront with only a few minutes walk to all the main attractions. The view is good from all aspects. There is parking for three cars, so obviously there is a bit of moving around on occasions, but nothing drastic.... More

Stayed here for 1 night while walking coastal path. Quiet setting right by the quay with fantastic views from bedroom which had 4 poster bed and original shutters. Friendly and helpful hosts who helped locate my lost camera and provided a delicious breakfast.

We have had another excellent visit to the Old Custom House. Peter and Maddie are delightful hosts. The breakfasts are superb - eggs from hens in the back garden, home-made jams, delicious Norfolk bacon and sausages, fresh fruit and more. Each of the three rooms overlooks Wells Harbour. The sun rises to the right and sets to the left. Sunsets... More

We stayed for one night in early June. The host was very welcoming. The location is like a picture postcard - just steps away from the harbour. Breakfast was top notch - smoke haddock thoroughly recommended! Plenty of good restaurants etc close by

This was our third visit and, as on the two previous occasions, an absolute delight. We stayed in the disability accessible ground floor accommodation with a small, but well provided, kitchen. Wonderful hosts and wonderful breakfasts. Can't praise it too highly. One of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed in.

We were in The Captain's room which was quite small and carpeted with rough hessian - make sure you take slippers if you stay here. The bed was very high and ,being short, I almost needed a ladder to go to bed. We had been told that the private bathroom was separate from the bedroom but in actual fact there... More

This characterful house is in a superb location on the quayside in Wells-next-the-Sea. Our room (the four poster) had a delightful view out across the estuary and marshes, and the tide and boating activity made fascinating viewing. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and served an excellent breakfast. Many thanks to them, also to the friends who recommended The... More

We decided to stay in Wells for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. Wells is a popular destination and despite booking in January, there was only one room left the The Old Custom House which was the Captain's Quarters. The property is perfectly located in Wells - a 5 minute walk from the main quay with great views out to... More

Stayed at short notice and were very fortunate to be booked into a room with a lovely four poster an adjoining dressing room and super large bathroom with a proper size corner bath. Fabulous views over the quayside. Super breakfast and friendly host who was full of knowledge and recommendations. Look no further for a B and B in Wells.
