It's great that you both enjoyed your stay with us. Our Snug room is nice and private and handy for the garden. I must admit with the unusually hot weather recently guests such as yourselves like to relax in our garden especially at the end of a day out We look forward to your next visit! More

When I first got in touch with Annette to book our room, she was very helpful and really went out of her way when I said we would be arriving quite late on our first night. She had arranged to go out that evening with her husband, but she said she was happy to meet us and book us in... More

Had a lovely midweek break with mixed weather. We stayed in the Snug which was exactly as described when booking - it was very comfortable. You have total privacy here & your own entrance door with a key. Annette and Jim were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area which was very helpful. The breakfast was just what the doctor... Dear Bev and Keith We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay in our Snug. Yes it is very useful to be able to leave your car in our driveway, as you say it is very easy to walk through to most things. It is nice to be able to,show guests our rooms as they are all very different... More

We decided to have a break at Wells, we were excited to go, never been to this beautiful area of North Norfolk. We arrived and was shown to our room, but then being told by Jeanette that we couldn't take our dogs outside the main house till after 7.30 in the morning. We do understand that dogs can be noisy,... We do have guidelines for our guests with dogs staying with us. These are in place to ensure a minimum of disruption to the other guests staying at the same time. The guideline you mention is: Unless it is absolutely necessary, please don’t take your dog outside before 07:30 as the noise of crossing the gravel driveway can be disruptive... More

A perfect place to stay. We have now visited three times with our labrador, staying both in the house and the annexe. All the rooms are lovely (and the annexe very cosy). The garden is safe for our dog to run around in and the local beaches and pubs are very dog friendly. The breakfast is the best you will... More

Thankyou for your very nice review. Our Snug is ideal for those that want a little additional privacy and being a small room with cosy underfloor heating is the reason it's called the Snug. Jim is really pleased that you enjoyed his breakfast! More

We were greeted by a very friendly lady who was looking after the property while the owners were away. When we were shown to our 'double en suite room' it turned out to be an outhouse or coal shed that had been 'converted'.This was only just big enough for the small double bed and left no room for our cases... We are so sorry you did not enjoy “The Snug” our smallest double room. We always mention the size of the room at the time of booking and are surprised you booked this room if you are not happy staying in a small double bedroom. Had you mentioned on arrival you were not happy, there was an alternative room available... More

Stayed for 2 nights in the lovely cosy annexe, very comfortable bed and toaster underfloor heating. Excellent facilities. Great welcome from Annette and smashing breakfast cooked by Jim. Will return to this lovely farmhouse which is a very good touring base.

We recently had a two days stay with two primary school age children. On the check-in, the hostess was helpful in introducing the local attractions and restaurants, then, the children were 'sternly' warned in advance not to making any noise in the morning when getting out of bed, which, I understand was for other guests' benefit. My kids went to... More

How strange to so strongly refer and relate to a 3 year old review of the only guest we have banned from returning to us in the 18 years of running a B&B. Is there some association here?
