We were really glad we spent a little longer searching for our accommodation whilst on a recent business trip to King's Lynn - The Old Rectory was a great find and excellent value for money. The building is beautiful and the room was spacious and homely. Clive, the owner, was extremely welcoming and a pleasure to chat with over breakfast....

Lovely building as you pull up, a well cared for and very quiet B&B, provided everything we needed for the night. With the other guests moving around with the utmost respect for the other visitors. The little bowls of mints and jelly babies scattered around the Old Rectory were a nice touch... especially for a 5 year old boy exploring!...

This is an exceptional premise. Recently renovated with elegant spacious rooms and large en suites bathrooms. Comfortable beds, wide screen TV and amenities for hot coffee, tea and chocolate in the room. A really luxurious premise. Great breakfast in a very well decorated room with huge windows. We met the lady who was preparing the cooked breakfast when requested and...

This is in the top 5 of bed and breakfast establishments that we have visited in the UK. A beautiful old rectory house tastefully converted to cater for 6 bedrooms. As we were a party of 10, we took 5 of the rooms for a weekend. All rooms were personally checked and they were all of a very high quality. Breakfasts...

Made a last minute enquiry for accommodation which was promptly answered and we spent a night there which was much appreciated. The room was lovely, well appointed and spotlessly clean. A beautiful building, stylish in its decoration and well situated in Kings Lynn. In the morning our Hostess was charming and a tasty full English Breakfast was a real treat....

After moving from KL to Snowdonia in 2016 I found myself looking for somewhere to stay in my old home town for my wife and myself while visiting family. Knowing the town geography helped and google came up with the old rectory. Decided to stay there and we were not disappointed, good old fashioned service, very quiet and relaxing atmosphere...

Stayed two nights in June. The building is lovely and we had an excellent stay. The room was nice and breakfast had everything you could want so we were very happy. Clive the owner is very welcoming and Kings Lynn is a nice town.

Goodwins Road seems to be in three bits and we kept going to the wrong bit! The car parking is in the front area - gravel with timber space dividers - don't park in the side drive which goes to the new house at the rear. After ringing the bell Clive took us round the side to the guest entrance,...
