We stayed here for one night. I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews posted after I'd booked - I don't know what people expect for the price they would have paid, everything was fine. The hotel staff were very pleasant, the reception and bar area were welcoming, rooms were good with comfy beds and plenty of... More

The hotel is located on the roundabout at the main junction for the North Norfolk coast.(a tip if you are arriving on a summer weekend from the A47w Peterboro or A17 Newark to not take the signed exit to Kings Lynn and Hunstanton and go over the flyover and come around the roundabout missing the holiday traffic)The Hotel has good... We were on a coach trip to see the Thursford Christmas Spectacular and we stayed at this hotel. We received a warm welcome and the check in process for fifty plus people was quickly done. Rooms basic but warm and clean. Menus for evening meal gave a good choice and food was tasty and hot, with a efficient service. Breakfast... More

This is the third time we have stayed here as part of blakes tour. The staff are courteous and dinner service well organised and food lovely especially Christmas dinner. However the hotel still looks tired and room 106 had a very musty smell all the time. We did not complain as we were only there two nights and you had... More

The food was good value and reasonable, and of an OK standard, breakfast good. BUT the building was in need of some care and attention in side, carpets marked in the public area and in the rooms the windows grubby. The rooms were clean and tidy.

Friendly staff, very comfy bed, nice shower, rundown corridors and our room smelt like an damp ashtray. The smell even permitted our clothes, bags and toiletries, which still smell over a week later. Great location, would stay again but would have to check the room first for the damp ashtray smell.

The hotel looks lovely from the outside. The room décor and equipment were very dated but kept clean by the housemaids. Great location near Kings Lynn and a big retail park on the doorstep Didn't eat at the hotel but the menu and prices looked decent. Had a couple of drinks in the hotel bar....very pricey. Stayed one night.... Overall... More

This is a fairly mid priced hotel the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The restaurant and breakfast room are nicely done. Our dinner was excellent we both chose lamb shank which fell off the bone, the mash was creamy and the veg beautifully cooked. They could do with a choice of better wine. The staff are amongst... Stayed at this hotel for one night. Wouldn't come back, the bed is comfortable but was two singles put together. The room had a very musty smell and really dated. The room was the same when we stayed at the dragonfly in Peterborough the following night! The bar area was ok for a couple of drinks so we spend a... More
