Having just returned from a wonderful weekend at this truly special b&b. Mike and Sue are super helpful and extremely friendly. Their home is immaculate throughout. The room we stayed in (Oak) had a lovely comfortable bed, was large and bright with an amazing view of their garden and fields beyond. The homemade biscuits in the room are a lovely treat. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams that you can also buy. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

This B & B is a gem in its own right - absolutely fabulous. Mike are Sue are excellent hosts and we were welcomed by Mike on both occasions. We had the pleasure of meeting Sue on the second visit. Mike is truly amazing, as the first time we were there, he was managing everything solo, and we were very impressed by his efficiency. No request was too small on either occasion. I cannot have any dairy products, yet Mike and and Sue had several alternatives to milk and spread, which was wonderful and saved us the hassle of having to bring our own. They even have a cooler that we could put the stuff we had to bring, in. On our second visit, which, like the first, was over two nights, we sampled the light supper that was on offer. I had tomato soup and a smoked salmon sandwich (made with diary-free spread) and my husband had a Ploughmans. Both were delicious. The breakfast options were extensive; they stocked everything - they 'bent over backwards' to meet our needs, even when we requested milk twice on one evening, I asked for dairy-free porridge on the last morning and supplied printer paper, plus a stapler when my husband was preparing his presentations for the interview, round 2. All the food is freshly cooked, and just smelling the delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen downstairs gave us an appetite. My husband had a cooked breakfast each morning on both visits, which helped to set him up for the day. I also had boiled eggs for breakfast on two occasions, which were delicious. The room (Oak) itself was lovely, the single beds were so comfortable - even better than our beds at home, with a super en suite bathroom, with a good grab rail to make getting in and out easier, for people with mobility issues, as I have. The towels were just the right size and the toiletries were well-appointed - the hand soap was particularly good. It was also good to have drawers and a wardrobe to put our stuff in. Sue had made me dairy-free biscuits, as well as the normal ones for Colin, so they were in the room when we arrived, There is a very comfortable lounge downstairs, with a big TV, and my husband and I sat in there a number of times, watching TV on one occasion. It didn't seem to be possible to watch a DVD on the TV in our room, so using the TV downstairs was far easier. The WiFi was pretty good too, once we had logged onto the network. The garden is beautiful, and would be particularly lovely in the summer. Location wise, it is ideal for Kings Lynn, and the North Norfolk Coast, as well as places of interest, such as Norfolk Lavender by Heacham or the various stately homes. We dined at the Ffolkes Arms on the first visit, so would recommend this pub. My husband and I stayed there, due to the fact my husband had an interview just outside Kings Lynn. Our second trip was last week for a second interview, with the hope this interview would be successful - which sadly it wasn't. The Pricing per night was very reasonable too, especially with the benefits we had. Despite the disappointment of the interview, we will return to this super B & B when we have an opportunity, and we are in the locality again in the future. It is a place worth knowing! The only very minor gripe was my having to negotiate the rather steep stairs, and wondered whether a stairlift would be an idea to consider, then disabled people would have easy access to the bedrooms. A ramp by the front door for someone in a wheelchair might be worth considering too, as both these things might make the B&B completely disabled user friendly and boost further custom. In my experience, it is the custom that keeps establishments like this B & B going. My husband and I heartily recommend this B & B. Thank you Mike and Sue for such a lovely stay.

Excellent B&B. I was on my own, but the room would have been fine for two of us. Proper wardrobe space and proper drawer space. And a personalised breakfast in the morning. Very helpful couple with tips about where to eat in the evenings.

In short - I can't think of a single thing that could be improved, the Linden is truly exceptional. We were warmly greeted by Mike and Sue and were soon sat down with tea, coffee and biscuits with a friendly chat with Mike and Sue. The house has been beautifully decorated etc with neutral colours and very stylish and comfortable furnishings.Everything is immaculately clean, tidy and tasteful. Our room (the Oak room) contained a large bed with very good quality linen and was very comfortable indeed. There is a TV and central heating which is adjustable and also a hair dryer (useful for my wife but given my comparative lack of hair not a prerequisite for me!). The bathroom was of a good size, spotlessly clean and modern with an excellent shower and bath; towels were of very good quality as were shampoo, body lotion etc (Molton Brown). Breakfast (specified the previous evening) was cooked to order and was very tasty and well presented. If guests do not want cooked breakfast there are good alternatives available - fruit, cereals, toast etc etc. The jam and marmalade are home made and tasted lovely. Wifi is available and is free. There are adequate parking facilities. The house has a delightful rear garden and is well set back from the road (although the road is not very busy anyway). Everything has been well thought through by Mike and Sue.For example, we decided to dine at the Ffolkes Arms (recommended - see my separate review) which is about a ten minute walk; there are no street lights so it is very dark and we were loaned a torch. Furthermore, I had forgotten to bring my shaving razor and Mike produced one for me. I have written many reviews for TripAdvisor (well over 100) and I am not backward in coming forward when I find reason to criticise. Suffice it to say that in the case of the Linden I could not find a single thing that I'd seek to change or improve - it is truly exceptional and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anybody. We certainly fell on our feet when we found it.
