We enjoyed a Norfolk break which was 2 nights b& b and evening meal we took the more expensive offer so we could stay in the older part of hotel . The room was large and comfortable and as we experienced the hottest day of the year we found it very hard to cool the room. Breakfast was adequate but... More

Stayed at the hotel for one night. Had the family room which was big enough for 3 adults as we had my elderly mum with us. Room was clean the bed was very comfy the hotel food was good would recommend, only fault was it was a hot night and we had the windows open there was some noise from... More

A lovely hotel in the centre of kings lyn. Staff friendly, breakfast superb, function room good. A little niggle the not enough space in car park for all guests so you have to be in a paid car park. Also the bar was dreadful. But hotel-gorgeous. X

We have stayed here before, and often use it when visiting the theatre. We specifically booked the 'old' part of the hotel, as it has more character, but following a refurbishment, it now looks modern, and quite frankly, boring. The room was very small, with en-suite, which was so small the shower doors, when opened hit both the toilet and... More

Rooms were very nice. Public areas very upmarket and smart. Pub with live music right next door. Not good in summer when you have kids staying with you as the pub rear doors are open and we needed the window open in the hotel also as the air conditioning was not working on the hottest night of the year. Also... More

Stayed here on a 2 day groupon deal upgrade to featured room. Parked in the car park at the rear of the hotel, reception is at the front. Hotel take the car number and register it so no need for a ticket or keep telling them every time you use your vehicle. Staff at reception very friendly and helpful as... More

I went to a party at the Dukes Head last night and not for the first time I came away thinking, they love to charge a lot of money but can't give decent service. Please avoid this place like the plague it is just dreadful from the quality of draft beers, the cold (should of been at least warm) burgers,... More

The hotel in general was amazing. Gorgeous interior (don't be fooled when you park at the rear). The service was exceptional and the food absolutely delicious. A hotel breakfast is a favourite of mine and this was up there with the best. We had a feature room in the old part of the building and the room was simply amazing!... More

Although initially we were disappointed in the look of the hotel from the car park (which is at the back of the hotel) we were pleasantly surprised by the interior and the modern rooms. Our room looked freshly redesigned and was clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and the breakfast very good. If you cannot park in the car... More

Stayed here on Sunday 10th July on a groupon deal which included a cream tea on arrival (we didn't actually experience this as we arrived too near to our booked dinner time) 2 course a la carte meal (excellent food and excellent service), breakfast also very good selection. We stayed in a twin room which was all that was available... More
