I stay in this hotel quite often and it is always good. Perfect location, good food and very pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are always good and comfortable but this time I wasn't so lucky! I was in room 14 and it's right at the top of the hotel. The staircase near the room had a rail but it... More

They only had a small room left which was sold to us as more of a single... for the price of £105.00 room only this room is more than adequate for 2 occupancies, storage, bed side table,large... The room was lovely and clean, but unfortunately there was no water one morning. This was a problem but the staff worked hard to sort it out. As part of a group staying we found the menu offered was very limited and yet saw such a choice available to other guests. The dinner lacked variety with under cooked French beans... More

This is the 5th time we have stayed here now and it doesn't disappoint. The hotel is really relaxing, the staff are pleasant and helpful, Michelle especially goes the extra mile for the guests, always pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. We have eaten in the restaurant each time we have visited and the food has always been excellent... More

We booked this hotel after using it last year but unfortunately this year was a major disappointment. We stayed in rooms 409 & 412. On Sunday morning we were unable to have a shower as there was no water pressure and only a dribble coming out of the shower and sink. On talking to the front desk I was told... More

Very friendly staff who were happy for us to stay on in the restaurant when it was closing and were cheerful and chatty at breakfast time. Food on the whole was good - we had breakfasts which were plentiful and tasty and a two course dinner (included in deal). One thing to note though is that I had whitebait and... More

We were told on arrival we had to pay £10 per night to use the hotel car park which I found a lot and an extra cost on top of the expensive room . However the staff were friendly , the room was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the evening meal in the restaurant. Breakfast was tasty but the staff... More

I know it is the age of on-line but walked in off the street to find a room and got one for £175. Found later on line at £155! Asked about parking and was told hotel car park is extra £10 when queried apparently "guests like this". All night parking on public square outside is £1. Had classic room expecting... More

The hotel has been modernised and the bar and lounge area looks good. The reception area was large the dining room was being redecorated when we stayed. The bedroom was on the second floor, easy staircase also lift if needed. The problem was the hotel next door, our window overlooked this hotel had a karoke evening the night we stayed... More

When you walk into the front of the hotel it's very nice. However the rooms are all on the back of the building in a purpose-built modern office block. The rooms are absolutely tiny and when I arrived it was a warm day and they have no air-conditioning. The room was 28° and stifling. I was told that they would... More
