As both a hotel and a bar/brasserie the Bank House made our long weekend outstanding. The reception and atmosphere were very welcoming. The fact that it was popular with locals as well as vistors was noticeable. We were in the area for a wedding and have told our hosts that we would highly recommend the Bank House for their future... Arrived and asked about snacks were available... Was offered crisps or nuts... Asked about sandwiches and were shown a short list BUT their "posh cheese on toast" was excellent and our young server made us excellent coffees and it was her first time making coffee.. Not cheap but worth a visit

We had a one night stay and we stayed in Nellls room on the top floor. It was a delightful large room with a sitting area overlooking the river and the meadows and church across the river.. A very well equipped large bathroom with a huge walk in shower" very helpful. Good food and friendly staff.

This review is again based on our restaurant visit as we had dinner just before Christmas last year, enjoyed it so much we all said we would return. Again we were greeted by friendly staff who said if we liked we could relax in the bar area and choose from the menu over a drink, all the food is locally sourced,... More

Amazing stay on business, the staff and the room was just excellent. The food in the restaurant was amazing and cooked perfectly. I had the Kings Room which was clean and very well presented. In all a perfect stay.

I've eaten here before but not spent a night, until I did so the other weekend. The hotel is fantastic - great building, great location near the river and beautifully and tastefully done up. We stayed in the Bathroom which was huge with lovely views over the river. There were some issues with parking due to recent restrictions introduced by... More

For our weekend away in Kings Lynn, we booked our accommodation at The Bank House and what a gem of a place it is too. We could not fault the place, the initial booking was easy, the checking in swift and our rooms wanted for nothing being fully furnished and furbished and very comfortable. At all times the staff were... More

"Relaxed atmosphere, contemporary style" Bank House is a unique Grade II * listed 11 bedroom Georgian town house hotel, set on the quay side in the heart of the historic and business areas of King’s Lynn, and a step away from the renowned Corn Exchange theatre and Arts Centre. Recently renovated to bring an eclectic flourish to the building’s Georgian grandeur, Bank House is now King’s Lynn’s most exciting and inviting place to eat, drink and stay. Our stunning bedrooms are each individually decorated and immensely comfortable. We love food at Bank House! Our menu offers modern brasserie food, using top quality fresh ingredients and taking full advantage of the wonderful produce of the area in season. Our elegant Bar, once the bank manager's office, is open all day. Teas, coffees and delicious home made cakes are available throughout the day, with the Bank House tea of sandwiches, scones and cakes served during the afternoon. We have a number of private rooms available for meetings and conferences, private dinners, parties and weddings, large or small, and can tailor our catering to suit your exact requirements and budget.
