Being a regular user of the North Norfolk Restaurant Week initiative, I eagerly looked forward to it this year and booked a meal out every night through the 2 weeks. My third night was at the Bank House in King's Lynn, a stunning looking property. The food was good, the the Smoked Salmon starter was lovely so no problems with... More

We stayed at The Bank House in September. It was really very good. The hotel is a building dripping with history and character (ask to see the cellars!). The accommodation was first rate. We opted for a larger room (rather than one with a view of the river) “Tom’s Room” (the rooms have quirky names) and was pleased with the... More

This place is dog friendly, but has only 3 tables to sit properly at. High Tables and we got a sofa and coffee table which is bad to eat at. The food was just about passable. I had a burger which was only half cooked and only ate half. you can not eat sitting with food on your lap

Nothing can be perfect in this world but apart from one unpleasant experience, this hotel almost is It's a characterful 18th century building on the quayside with King's Lynn's oldest quarter on one side and the custom house/market square/town centre on another. Whichever room you have, you should have an interesting view therefore even if it's a mediaeval brick wall.... More

Having just arrived in Kings Lynn we wanted somewhere for an evening meal. The Bank House had been recommended and we booked in. The Sea Bass with new potatoes and samphire was very good indeed. The service and atmosphere was also first class
