Just had a beautiful stay for my wife’s birthday at the Norfolk Mead…this is our second time here and what can I say..well everything is just beautiful, beautiful building and grounds set in a lovely village, staff are friendly and welcoming and can’t do enough for you, food in the evening was exceptional and is the highest standard! We stayed in the Beechnut which is located just away from the hotel and is lovely and private and has brilliant amenities in the room, beds are lovely and comfortable and had a great nights sleep, we had breakfast the next morning and the standard is so high with the fresh locally sourced products used really showing! We will definitely return in the future and really couldn’t recommend enough!! Thanks again everyone at the Norfolk Mead……

As a group of 10 friends we stayed at the Norfolk Mead on NYE having booked the NYE Gala Dinner. The staff gave us a warm welcome and were friendly and hospitable throughout our stay. A special thank you to Mark for changing our accommodation due to former guests having had a dog in the Cottage my husband and I were booked into. The food at the Gala Dinner was exceptional and enjoyed by everyone of us. The service was friendly and attentive and we were very appreciative of the attention given to our food allergies. We are already looking forward to our return at a wedding later in the year. They also do the best Sunday Roast which we enjoyed at a previous visit. Superb ! 5 stars from us !

We stayed in one of the cottages for a Christmas get-together with friends and enjoyed every minute. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed - the perfect mix between having your own space whilst still enjoying the hotel's services. Dinner and breakfast were both superb and the staff were also fantastic - warm, attentive and friendly.

My family and have stayed at the Norfolk Mead over christmas for several years now, and will continue to return as there is nowhere else like it. The location is a quiet and secluded very English manor by a river. Grounds are well kept and gorgeous with cottages scattered throughout. The food is always divine. What really makes this place though are the staff who warm, friendly and attentive to every detail in making your stay as perfect as possible. Particular thanks to assistant manager Liam and to Mark, housekeeper extraordinaire. Lovely lovely people who go above and beyond the call of duty.
